What do you guys think? Megatron, feeling betrayed by Shockwave, teams with Optimus to defeat him in a three bots fight to the death. This taking place at the end of the film.

No I don't believe that. Shockwave is definitly on Megatron's side but I see Sentinel Prime sacraficing himself to destroy shockwave.

Based off the new comics for DOTM Sentinel liked Megatron (as he and optimus were mentors of Sentinel) and may refuse to fight him. Maybe?

I dunno. Shockwave has always been loyal to Megatron right? I could be wrong, but i don't recall Shockwave ever betraying Megatron. So unless Starscream takes command for whatever reason, i'm not sure this would happen.

For those of you who say Shockwave is loyal to Megatron, and who thinks he and Megatron are enemies - you're both right and wrong; Shockwave is loyal to Megatron - but to a certain extent. He does believe that he will eventually have to usurp Megs and become leader - because it is only logical.

Shockwave is an evil Mr. Spock and he is one of few Decepticons, hell Transformers period, that can fight Megatron to a draw. Hell my friend just reminded that in the old Marvel series and actually beat and enslaved Megatron!!!

Hmm... I guess its possible that Megs and Optimus could team up. It wouldn't be the first time.

I think the fighting will be kept separate, Prime vs. Megatron as usual; and Shockwave vs. Sentinel, except for the end battle, where all 4 (or 3, if Megatron gets killed before) are involved.

As for Megatron and Shockwave, in the U.S. Marvel comics Shockwave is 2-0 against Megatron (not counting Shockwave vs. Megatron AND Galvatron) and he obliterated Megs the first time, and drove him insane and caused him to attempt suicide the second time. Shockwave is definitely superior to Megatron.

But that's Generation 1, not Bayverse.

It just occured to me that the writers,or Hasbro, may have it organised so that one of the big 3 survives for any next movie, they being Megz, Screamer or SWave.

Say what about you?? Man you are absolutely pathetic!!! You bring in a quote i said about you from a completely different thread that has absolutely zero to do with the conversation at hand, in a pathetic attempt at what?? I said in my post that i could have been wrong and was proved so. So this leaves a possibility that Prime and megs could in fact work together now doesn't it? But naw.. I'm sure you'll just come up with another one line excuse to put down Bay like you always do.

I think you could be correct. And for some reason i think its going to be Megatron. I have this visual at the end of the movie him driving off in this Mack truck mode honking his horn like in the end of the movie "Jeepers Creepers". :lol:

Isn't this going to be the last Bayverse film?

Anythings possible, Prime and Megs teamed up a couple of times in G1, so its certainly not beyond the realms of fantasy.

Given Movie Megs' demeanor, I don't really think it will happen. He just doesn't seem like the type. I think most likely it will be:

Sentinel and Optimus vs. Megatron vs. Shockwave

You say i wouldnt get something, as though you were an authority. yet you are not aware not interested in checking out of the major dynamics in the transformers franchise.
