I completely understand what you're saying about the two figures individually. G1 Fortress Maximus takes up a lot of real-estate in city or battle station mode, and their real value probably does come from having miniature figures to display on them. And I can't argue with how awesome Warden looks in 'Command Mode'.
OK, no harm done. I just wanted to make sure we're clear on not pushing opinions on others.
I'm simply surprised that anyone could be content to put the two together as (in my opinion) they don't look like they belong together.
OK, now that makes more sense. You're right, it's immediately obvious that the 2 weren't made as parts of the same figure. But I just can't pass up the Warden figure because it just looks like a marvelous piece of engineering, Having said that, unless PE follows with what would undoubtedly be the crowning achievement in toy design and give us a Maximus body to go with this head mode, Warden for me will mainly be used as his concept initially intended. The head of Fortress Maximus. But, as I said, this is just for me.
Also, with Warden being bigger (and IMO proportionate with the body) than Cerebros, I think Maximus will be able to looks Metroplex in the optics finally.
