Say what? Your name is Kibble, and you don't like Cap'n Crunch? Dem's some of the tastiest kibbles around!Kibble wrote:Cobotron wrote:I don't think it's any more odd than most of the freaky deaky "Year Of" releases. If these come out I'm scoopin' 'em up like a spoon does Cap'n Crunch.
Me too...cuz my spoon doesn't scoop no nasty Cap'n Crunch.
Toon accurate deco woulda been the right play.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Sabrblade wrote:Well, looks like we finally got that Flywheels from Blitzwing everyone kept asking for.

Emerje wrote:Well, I definitely agree with those saying Astrotrain is in Movor's colors. There aren't a lot of orange and white space shuttle Transformers. Astrotrain's face in the art looks to be light blue like the Movor figure. If it really is then it's ironic that this is happening at the same time as Takara Tomy's Rollbar/Greejeeber repaint in Adventures.
For Blitzwing I'm not sold on either the SG or Flywheels theory. Maybe if he was more dark maroon and dark gray-brown I could buy the Flywheels idea, but it looks more purple to me. Unlike Astrotrain, Blitzwing's colors are a 1:1 color swap from the original figure so it may not be based on anything at all. Both would look pretty decent with G2 stickers on them.
I'm not overly excited about these figures, but if they do something similar with Perceptor/Blaster and the tapes I'll be all over that set. Hopefully Trypticon will be more like the Insecticons and left alone since this will be a first time reissue for him. The Coneheads 3-pack? Dunno, maybe this?

I really hope they don't pull this stunt with Trypticon. I'd hate to see him in neon yellow with pink poker dots.

I would buy that in a heartbeat.

The price was mentioned on the previous page. The philipines equivalent to 100$, which is insane. I wont be getting this after all.

I am wrong. Someone, somewhere has decided that collectors want inaccurate G1 reissues in gaudy colors unrelated to toy safety and further that they intend to sell these toys at the Platinum price mark-up. I am right. These are mock ups for some internal use purpose, not having meant to be leaked publicly and not in their final colors. This instance would see a reissue similar to the recent Insecticons and Conehead seekers, both of which were colored correctly.
Which of those is more plausible? Hell, I could be wrong...
But which would you put money on?

I'd put my money on you being wrong.

HA! Somebody mentioned this idea for Metroplex in another thread. Tryp would be better though 'cause you could totally pull off some sweet guitar solo knee slides down that ramp. ROCK OUT!ScottyP wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Generation 2 Trypticon! Changes from walking dinosaur into LAS VEGAS!
Someone tell the guy behind Knights of Unicron that this is the next thing they need to accomplish.
Heck, have Trypticon turn into a soundstage that compliments that set. Replace the radars with sound monitors, antennae with a drum kit, towers/turrets/missile launchers with laser lights, and ramps with barriers to stop the wanna-be groupies from harassing the fembots.
I just talked myself into this whole idea. Brb gonna go price out Knights of Unicron sets on ebay.
