Revealed at Rhode Island Comic Con. this weekend is a remold and recolor of Astroblast who looks a lot like Cloudburst's partner Landmine (aka Masterforce Lander!)
This yellow, red, and grey version of the mold features new weapons (sword, drill, rifle), new helmet and a new Tech Drone robot who looks a lot like the inner robot on Pretender Landmine.

Prototypes are on their way from the factory.

As a childhood TF this is a must buy.
It looks like they're making two out of my three childhood TFs. Comooooooooon Chainclaw! I gotta say these are guys I didn't think even the 3rd party guys would touch!

I believe there are at least two a year in my neck of the woods, one in spring and one in fall. We just don't get quite as big as some of the other cities. I used to go to Gencon when it was in Milwaukee. That was a pretty big deal too, but was more concentrated on gaming. There was some manga stuff, comics, and movie related stuff. I don't know if they had more with the Transformers movies out there as it moved away from me before the first one came out.
Then there are the overseas comic and related cons.
It appears that we love to get together and enjoy our hobbies.
Oh, and these not-Pretenders look pretty cool. Not for me, but I am enjoying what they are doing with them.

New detailed images of Goldminer were released this morning, showing off all the features of Goldminer and his Tech Drone. The drone can become a backpack for Goldminer, a scout car, robot or combine with Goldminer's weapons for several cool configurations, including as an auger.
