Six inch tall TF figures are deluxe class not Voyager class. 2.0 Cyclonus, a Six inch toy is a Deluxe class toy.

Those 2 to 3 inch tall PWTT figures have almost no articulation and barely a alt mode. Think They are inferior to HasTak's TF Legends class toys.

Was referring to the promise PWTT made Kickstarter buyers months ago. That these Kickstarter figures would be sold to buyers at the bare bones production cost.

Don't think Charging $55 is bare bones Production cost. Think it's more in the lines of PWTT making a profit and charging buyers double or triple production cost.

Don't think PWTT is offering kickstarters buyers any discount. Think kickstarters buyers are paying full blown 3rd party prices for a Deluxe class toy. Where the Six inch figure is overly simplified as it has no Transformation, no alt mode and bare bones overly simplified engineered.

Wasn't refering to sites buying the kickstarer toys and selling them for a profit. Was referring to when the kickstarter was over and then PWTT charging a much higher price for the non-kickstarter toys they'll release afterwards to the sites.

A goal of 80 grand ? I was expecting them to say like 20 grand. Unless BBTS decides to drop 60-65 of that 80 grand, I dont see this project leaving the drawing board.

It's worth a mention, That some of these Former Hasbro employees now employed by PWTT also worked for TFCC.

Think it's plainly obvious that PWTT is trying to appeal and tailor this kickstarter more towards TFCC buyers. Who like to buy low production recolors that will only get one production run. With the promise of these toys being worth a small fortune in years to come.

Sadly, I think BBTS and other sites will fund most of this Kickstarter 80 grand goal.

Dude, the BMOG Kickstarter was for $19,000 and it was to make a single unpainted unassembled sprue of plastic and a sticker sheet!

Think something seems wrong here.

Some 3rd parties who made Voyager class fully transforming TF toys. Claimed it only cost around $25,000 to mass produce the toys at the factory.

PWTT's $80 grand kickstarter price sounds like they expect kickstarter buyers to pay for the PWTT employees salaries, art sketches, Cad files fees, Test shot fees, then also pay for the final mass production factory fees.

Think this PWTT project smells like something in the lines of. create a overly simplistic, cheaply made line of toys and make fans pay insane high amounts for them. sort of like what those BMOG toys were.

Then. Don't. Support. It. Personally, I'd rather discuss the figures and the packages for the kickstarter...

Scaleface, is there a particular way to get the extra heads? I'm looking at the Skull-FKR, as you know.

Some people want this to fail it seems and will tell lies, ignore them.

The head shots will be stretch goals. They unlock if the campaign exceeds the $80,000. Then you can add them to your order for a few dollars more.

All i'm doing is pointing out all of PWTT's broken promises. Like initially saying the Kickstarter's buyers price will be the bare bones production cost. Personally I think the Chinese factories just like to rape American investors with no Vaseline. The 3rd party and KO guys seem to have no trouble getting the hook up with huge runs at dirt cheap prices. How many times have we seen items marked on both "pre-order" and "clearance" at the same time at BBTS ? I don't believe a mold costs that much to make whether its created from an original prototype or reverse molded KO style.

The 80,000 to produce five six inch figures with accessories seems fair, the Skeleton Warriors kickstarter wanted 45,000 to produce a single figure, and a "naked version" as an army builder. Plus those aren't nearly as massive as these figures.

And yes, this 80,000 will be paying for the salaries at the factory, that's what production costs are, the money it takes to make the toys, and that includes wages and everything, not just plastic.

That said, 55 for a six inch figure is pretty expensive.

To be honest i'm a little tiered of you always putting a figure down just because you don't like it or have no interest but you always feel the need to suck the fun out of it

Then as soon as you like a figures it's beautiful, it's superior, it's ultra class, it's a work of art, everything else is inferior

Well I checked out the kickstarter page for giggles. I was suprised to see 20 grand had been pledged on the first day. But then again, everybody who wanted these ran and pledged by now with the traditional TF preorder sense of urgency. The question is now who wants to front the other 60 grand ? Is there any money to be made buying an "army of ten" figures for $900 ? If there is no money to be made, I dont see BBTS fully funding the rest on a gamble. They might read comments here or on TFW2005 and try to speculate if the investment is even worth it. On a seperate note, its a relief that PWTT didnt put a $5000 pledge option where they fly you to NYC and treat you to dinner to sign autographs.

I haven't pledged yet, X. So, not everybody has. I think people tend to jump on pre-orders at places like BBTS in case the number of figures is limited. Plus, we've seen online stores pull pre-orders if there wasn't enough interest. This has a bit of time to go, eh....?

I am encouraged that 25% of the money has been already raised in just a few hours. Off to check it out now that I've had my morning caffeine

I wish I had more money at this point...I want it all!

What a shame, now that the PWTT threads have all been condensed into one we're still getting asinine comments that make me want to not read here.

I'm a little disappointed that the "seeker" figures are higher up, but I have a feeling this KS will reach those goals at least. I just have to figure out what's best for me before deciding what my contribution will be. Likely I'll do the $250 option for the 5 figures, but then I'd still have to come up with more for Starscream, Sunstorm, and Slipstream. So I'm a bit torn.

I think I'm going to back this at the $100 level and plan to get more at checkout.

Most of the things I really want are in the stretch goal area.

If they get to, or are close to, some of the other goals I want, I can then up my pledge to cover those costs.


Edit: OK, I finished backing and I pledged $155 That'll get me Bitemark, Desolataur & Bloodbath. $50 each isn't awful for a startup.
