I think this would make for an interesting fight. Movie Megatron at full power from the 2007 film going up against Megatron from "Transformers: Prime". Now while Movie Megs was certainly vicious and powerful, he seemed mainly brute force, while Prime Megs is not only powerful (and pretty darned hardcore!), but also highly intelligent and a good strategist. That's not to say Movie Megatron isn't a good thinker, he can use strategy well, but hen he fights he's usually just brute force, where as Prime Megs can use both strength and cunning to his advantage, which I think gives him an edge.

The Transformers in "Prime" seem to be able to tank a lot of punishment as well (even taking military weapons fire for prolonged periods as opposed to movie TFs who can be killed quicker), it takes more of complete dismemberment of the entire body or a fatal blow to the internal to actually kill one, yet movie Transformers seem the be a bit more vulnerable and fragile, despite being able to dish out strong attacks.

So which Megatron dominates this fight? I'm leaning towards Prime Megs, but it will take a while I'm sure. I think Prime Megatron's best option is holding his own until he sees an opportune opening to deliver a killing strike. Perhaps you could compare this to the fight with Primes Megs vs that Insecticon? Gladiatorial skill and cunning vs sheer monstrous brute force?

Setting is the same area of Chicago from DoTM.

Movie Megatron seemed to hold better in a fight.

If it was a brawl, I give it to Movie Megs, based on utter brute force. In a firefight, however, TFP Megatron wins, after a lengthy fight. Movie Megatron's cannon might seem more powerful, but it also seems much clumsier and less accurate, him having to combine his arms to activate it. Over time, TFP Megatron will be able to cause enough damage from far away to close in and finish the job by hand. So, regardless of the setting, it all depends on the type of fight.
