My local Walmart is putting out Wave 3 backstock it looks like. Now I have all 3 main Fossilizers, now to figure out a good looking combo...

I found out recently about this video game store near me that carries used Transformers toys, so my brother and I decided to take a look. He found some holy grails of his, Generations 2010 Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, and I found Armada Thrust (Complete with mini-con and all three missiles) and G1 Metroplex. He was only missing his fists and his kneecaps, and is in need of a bit of a clean-up, but for only $45 I figured it was a good deal. I found G1 Six-gun at Hascon in 2017 to fill in for our Generations collection, but since his Siege update the old boy's been floating around. Now I can finally put them together!

I also found Tigatron and Origins Bumblebee at Target later that same day, so good day for my collection, not for my finances

Congrats for that haul! Finding those missing pieces for Metroplex will not be too hard I bet.

On my end, I had to "import" K. Huffer and Select Artfire from Age 3 & Up at Vancouver. I kinda forgot about their points rewards so I had the required 5k points to get the 75$can off coupon. Nice!

Congrats on G1 Metroplex! He's a pretty fun figure overall, even if he's a brick. Agreed that finding the parts won't be too bad. Finding them at a non-irksome price, now, that's the challenge.

So I tried my luck at Target again this morning looking for Slammer and Pipes, hoping to get them before while Target still had their sale going. All that was left for Kingdom Deluxes was two Paleotrexs and two Waspinators which I'm honestly surprised they had even that much in stock given the $13.99 price tag. Ended up taking both Paleotrexs bringing me up to three total. Can't wait to combine them into a camera T-rex bone monster. I do have Transmutate and Skelivore so maybe I'll make a hydra or something.

I picked up Bee Movie Soundwave last week and he was as expected. Good bot mode, but the alt mode is just butt. Unfortunately the great articulation he has and the nice stiff joints actually work against you when trying to transform him. It wasn't until my second attempt that I somehow got everything aligned just right so the arms would tab to the chest and the feet can tab onto the arms, but the alt mode still looks like butt. Bot mode is pretty badass though, so there is some saving grace for him.

Glad I found him at Walmart for under $30 instead of full price from Amazon.

Got these guys by surprise today from Pulse without even an email letting me know they shipped, just went outside for a smoke and they were sitting on the porch. This could be a very expensive Pulse month if SG Screamer and Jetfire are also shipping and just ordering Blaster and Slammer from them today. At this point I'm praying Black Zarak stays in March and doesn't move back up.

The thing that is incredible is that if you're a Platinum member, those SG voyagers are 40.50$CAN (31.75$US) each compared to 39$US at Pulse. In both cases I still have to pay the federal and provincial taxes, but add 30$US in shipping fees from Pulse.

I'm very happy to have been able to get my most wanted locally for so "cheap"!

I thought I was able to cancel my Amazon Slammer right after I ordered Slammer from Pulse yesterday with Blaster to get free shipping. Turns out I was wrong and he shipped just before I could cancel, which feels so right since I get to enjoy Slammer today and can just return the one from Pulse to Amazon, and let my wife do that a Kohls where they usually give a 25% your Kohls checkout coupon for returning Amazon orders there. Everybody wins!

Very nice! Altho (total Cybertron bias here) I'd opine that the original SG Starscream is a bit cooler albeit worse-articulated.

Why sell it? That 20$ you'll make once eBay and Paypal takes their cut won't be worth the trouble.
Just open and enjoy the Ark. You'll love it even more because you got a great deal. Also, there's the upcoming D.N.A Designs upgrade kit that will make it perfect.

Well, hum... I made an impulsive purchase. I saw it on Mandarake and I just had to buy it when I saw the price.

The 2001 Japan's Toy R Us exclusive Nucleon Quest Super Convoy C-307X!



Appart one broken seal of the box, (thus "opened"), the set is brand new and unused!



At only 19K yen, I just had to get it!
Then the total bill came. 8K yen for shipping alone.... fffffffffff.....
Then the DHL custom fees bill came. 51$CAN. Ah fooooookk.....
Total, over 360$CAN for the thing.

This is one of my most expensive Transformers ever. But it could have been worse. I could have bought it from eBay.

For the price I paid, of course I applied the stickers. Even after 20 years, these stickers were just perfect.



I'm amazed that this is NOT a "Nemesis" but still the good guy Convoy. Just in "stealth mode". The truck is absolutely glorious.



The base mode is fantastic and it's still the only mold that can pull off the base mode effectively. It's also the mode with the most stickers details. The single Ginrai is a bit weird. Why the BLUE Windows chest? I guess because printing the same sticker sheet as the original Ginrai was easier but still.

BTW transforming everything was SCARY. I had to "BREAK" the stiff and unused joints into positions. After some back-n-forth everything transform smoothly but oof... I had a few cold sweat. Thank God I'm familiar with the mold.





Finally the super mode is epic! An epic brick, but epic nonetheless.

I'm pretty glad I finally own this version. Too bad there is no God Bomber armor to go with it. That's one grail obtained.
Now, I only need the Fire Guts version.
But it may take a while...
