I was just in Target looking through all the deluxes for something I didn't have and I hear a voice "Looking for Bumblebees?" I said no and he said they go for a fortune on eBay, yada yada. I could tell he wasn't a fan and just looking to make some loot so I was like whatever.

dude to b approached by a scalper in the store and be offered to buy a Bumblebee is like the rudest thing ever!! You should have kicked him, but not in the teeth!!!

anyways, to come up to you, and blatantly say are you looking for 08 Bumblebees is like, oh man.. what a Jerk!!! Okay, so he probably even picked them up from there, frequents some transformers sights that tell of the wanted needs of the BB 08 toy, but here is a moment of grace for you to ease your anger...

that scalper doesn't realize that 08 BB is saturated in the 2nd market by s calpers just like him, 08 Bumblebee is everywhere, and not selling anymore, either cause the kid interest has wanned or the adult collector already has his..

so i bet that scalper, is trying o sell them off, becuase he did what all the other scalpers did, and bought them all from the shelves, not realizing that every other jerky scalper a$$whole was doing the same!! serves them right.. greedy little Bast$%%!!!! :grin:

Thanks, I really hope those make it over here, even if they don't make it to the shops, I found a online store in germany that sells nothing els but TF! :grin:

And it's quite cheap.

I don't think he was offering me one, he just assumed that because I was looking through all the deluxes that I was looking for concept BB. I decided to test him to see if he was just a fan (since he said he had 5 at home and they go for a fortune on eBay) or if he was a scalper.

He knew nothing of the G1 redeco starscream, had no idea what the classics line was and asked how I knew so much stuff but I didn't want to contribute to scalper knowledge so I didn't mention web forums and just said eBay. As I was leaving, he saw a Bumblebee FAB and picked it off the shelf quickly and said to me, these also go for a fortune on eBay and I think he walked off with it.

geez....

oh well, can't stop scalpers.. but if they end up with lots of stock and loose money on it, because of board discussions like these, then it's nice and comforting to know that good Karma exists in the universe..

Cant ell from the pics, but I hope Leader Meg has new head sculpt to allow head turning. I choped a piece below my Original Leader meg's head to allow head turning, and now he wont transform properly! :sad:

(I'm porobably the only one that actually LIKES his alt mode too)

I'll probably be getting some of these.

I was thinking about getting a spare leader prime, Blackout and Ironhide for repaints anyway.

If I snag these instead, the existing ones can get repainted.

Not sure if I'll be getting any of the others though. Maybe Barricade ... maybe. I like the leader megs, and agree this is what should have come out instead of the fairy princess Mageatron we got. But I may just do the repaint myself and save the $$. I dunno.

Kinda glad I skipped the BB megs now.

I think the p**s is being taken here. How many repaints of the same figures do they expect us to buy? plus its a bit of a rip off to sell the original figs as they were if they were capable of bringing them up to this level 5 months down the line. I'm really not impressed at all. I know they want to make a profit but they are pushing it to ridiculous levels of profiteering now. They've switched from supplying a demand to flooding the market with as much as they can possibly get out to capitalize on the film.

Wow, as bad as it is that they keep dishing out repaints, these are pretty cool, especially Megatron and Optimus.

A quick question to Canadians or anyone who may know, are these figures available in all Best Buys or just the US ones? I'm wondering cause I never even saw the Voyager Megatron or Ratchet.

Aw MAN... now I wish I had waited to get Ironhide. Aside from the big Autobot symbol on the front, this new version looks MUCH better. Oh well, at least I don't yet have Supreme Prime!

Starscream looks pretty sweet too, but I'm gonna wait til TF2 comes out before I get him...

Refuse 2 repaint and sightly remold 3 extra seekers in the CLASSIC Line...

It it was Prime and Megs only then i can accept that and maybe get them since i didnt like them the 1st time around but a whole freakin LINE!!!!!
