Hey everybody,

I am relatively new here, I have been on site before, but I just started playing HMW last week. I really enjoy it, you all have done a great job.

When i was looking at the boars about two days ago I saw a thread about choosing between atuobots and decepticons and then choosing a certain faction for you team. In this thread, Glyph talked about how he was going to use the factions in HMW 2.0 (I think).

Anyway, I was wondering if there is anymore info about what HMW 2 is going to be like, and where I could find. Also i was wondering if we could make suggestions, if so I think it would be cool if there was a system kind of like the XBOX 360's achievement system or like in Halo 2. For instance if you put more than one person in stasis lock in a mission you could get a double kill, and as you rack up kills in the arena you could a certain badge for every milestone. And the badges would go on your team page.

Just an idea, and like I said earlier awesome job I really enjoy playing (it helps pass the time between classes or while im waiting for the professors to show up lol)

Used to be some threads about how V2 would be, but they were delated when we have some server issues. Also Glyph had a sticky thread, i hope he posts it again.

The answers i can think of off the top of my head:
(Taken from varying posts by Glyph and Mkall, almost all of which were deleted in the great Seibertron crash of last month sadly.)

There will be a Victory Points (VP) system that will take into account outstanding achievements (possibly double kills and flawless victories etc.) that will be all go towards your overall ranking within your faction, so your suggestion is very close to the proposed truth. See example attached below.

We can expect V2 to to be a more theme based game with its own story, terrain to fight over and a large map to conquer as well.

Of course, V2 appearing at all depends on time and Glyph's success with bending the code to his mighty will, but as Mkall has said there will be a proper story to mark the end of V1.x so we will all know when its approaching.

Other than that, im sure everyone else here can help you with a few answers, welcome to the game, and as you are an Autobot, i look forward to killing you shortly.

Tiffs right though; Glyph, any chance of a return on the evolutions diary?

...What are the two faction insignia under the G1 insignia? I don't recognize them...

Think they are from a futuristic or aborted line somewhere, or they maybe an ancient symbol used in the DW comics.

Both guesses mind as im not sure. Shinju Chan wears the 'con one on her sig, I think.

Actually... Now that I think about it, I THINK I might have seen that 'Autobot' insignia on a knockoff Aerialbot...

Those are Shinju Chan's versions of ancient Decepticon/Ancient Autobot I believe

No those are seen on Shockwave's Monitor in Darkmount in a few early G1 episodes.

They are the Ancient Symbols for Autobots and Decepticons
