I had one on preorder via Target but it got canceled a few months ago because it wouldn’t let me change my card info since I had gotten a new card afterwards. Oh well, maybe I can find one in stores, but then again it’s Target...

I'm hoping this will be like the Ectotron rerelease, I saw him a few times and some of the times he was with the Ghostbusters toys instead of Transformers :lol:

Finally got around to opening Mr. Pants today and he is pretty cool! Just looking at him and I can hear the cartoon's theme song in my head. Those legs were a little difficult to get transformed, but I always have trouble reading the instructions. Just wish they came up with a different name than X-Spanse, I mean Ultimate X-Spanse, last name X-Spanse first name Ultimate.

Can't wait for EB to get this. Last I checked, ship date was still listed as August!

Oh, and loving this fig, but may paint those yellow vents on his knees grey or dark blue to make the Blackbird mode more appealing.

Will he actually be sold in stores? If so, I didn't know that.

Not entirely sure honestly. But he’s still available on Target so I decided against my better judgement and preordered him again with a surprise predicted delivery of this week or next in spite of the nigh endless delays that affected my Thrust for a solid two and a half months and my current situation with FedEx of having a box stay in Minnesota for over a week now.

Yeah, I would associate Excelsior with Stan Lee. Not so much the X-Men. I'm sure someone at Hasbro has proposed a Stan Lee transformer.

Got mine yesterday, but have yet to transform him. I was slightly disappointed by the paint job on the mini-figs, but oh well. ;p

Asking the owners.
Does he feel GOOD in hand? As in, not cheap at all? And appart the obvious wing ends, nothing pop off all the time at the slightest touch?

He is very panel-y and I was worried that stuff would pop off or even break. Didn't need to worry the plastic is pretty good. Once I got the legs figured out and undone the rest was pretty simple until I got to the neckpiece with the wings over his head but that was just a matter of clearing the flaps over the shoulders. Definitely tricky but nothing popped off nor did I feel like I was going to break anything with pressure.

That's a sweet Psylocke and I am really impressed by how posable and balanced this figure is. Someone on Twitter had him do a handstand and I think everyone who owns him, myself included, has made him dab several times. A good range of motion and lots of articulation points also help.

I was honestly surprised by his ability to pose and how much I really liked the figure, the more I played around with him! But considering the price tag, I should have set my expectations higher, honestly. But I do love him now.

We have some fun Target centric news for you. Firstly, there is currently a 25% off one toy promotion at Target this week using Target Circle. And that should come in really handy since Target has the X-Men Transformers crossover figure not only online but in stores as well.
The store sighting below comes from Kentucky and was posted on the TFW2005 boards. Along with using their redcard, they were able to get this figure for less than $50, including taxes.

The news of the promotion was sent our way by Emerge who wrote the following:
