His barganing posture?

So, you have to look at what is logical. Is it logical to assume that this company is embarking on this huge hard to acomplish task while making minimum proffit, or is it pretty safe to say that they follow suit with every other company and are making max profit.
I swear, What started off as me saying simply that It sucks to pay so much for a figure that I really wanted has mutated into something that I hardly recognize.
If they want to make a killing fine! I cant stop them. I can however wish that they would lower the price so that I can afford it.
Im betting if they lowered their price by 150 dollars (over all) they would do alot better than they are going to do with a 600 plus price tag.
Still, after all this , I am going to find a way to buy this damn thing.
So I guess banking on collectors, blinded by their passion will pay just about anything for a piece they realy want is a good bet.
Take care and thank you for sparing me the insults and sarcastic remarks.

Highly dubious.

But My arguement is not weak and I havnt went about it the wrong way.
You have no proof that TFC is going to make an enormous profit off of their Devastator.
I'm sure they make the profits the need to keep afloat, pay their employees, and grow in the future, to provide us with better products, maybe cheaper ones too. Warbot from Fansproject was a similar price, so was Delicate Warrior.
Without proof your argument comes off as weak, and whiney.
Fact is, Hercules is very expensive, but that's likely the price it needs to be for TFC to be sustainable.
But you see my friend you have no proof that they are NOT making a huge profit. Thats the other side of the coin see?

Of course if nobody buys the project they've sunk so much money into it might have the adverse effect of just bankrupting them.

Exactly...since they're staggered releases, all this does is result in the other 5 not seeing the light of day. And then yes, the price would probably fall on the lonely Exgraver fig. Anyone want that fig alone for $40?

You're going around in circles with your statements and you are still not providing any facts. And after 8 pages of moaning, insulting people, and making assumations & entitlement demands you're going to buy the figures anyway! What is the point of this thread?
Relax, stop making assumptions, and take a wait and see approach. It would be very ironic if you bought these figures and they turned out to be crap. This company does not have a stellar track record when it comes to quality control. And gestalts at this size can have issues with the joints.
Psst...Maketoy is making they're own Devastator.

I'd wager that's because they haven't been made yet. Think about it from their point of view. They've prototyped 4 Constructicons without putting even one out yet. Maybe they can't afford to make 5 and 6 yet. Maybe they wanna see how they do a bit.
