yeah, i think so too, but IMHO it's smaller than the standard-sized deluxe. that's kinda like a downer. i still haven't received my RM-22 yet so i don't know how small this toy is.

I'm interested in the same question. And I'm also waiting for my RM-22. Getting kinda worried that I haven't heard from Gundamstore.

actually guys, he's not that much smaller then a Deluxe, and don't worry about the Gundam Store, I got mine from there, and he was fine...If you have the reissues from Takara, and have the Optimus Primal TM-something.... then he's the sdame height, which is kinda accurate, because Optimus Primal Wasn't much bigger then his buddies on the show..




I'd say he's the same size as Classics Rodimus Prime..

Here is the Optimus Primal you see above with show accurate paint apps close to the other deluxe reissues, so as you can see Lio Convoy RM version fits in nicely..


the Large Lio Convoy you own Zemper, is about the size of the 2 in the back of this image below:


the RM-22 Lio Convoy is the size of the deluxes in front, he's a great figure, better then the large version.. that's why I think Hasbro could do a little retool, if they bought the mold.. I love the RM-22 Version better then I like the original, and he's more cartoon accurate, and scale accurate with the other bots.. He deserves a comic Pack and US Release..

If Hasbro does the Comics Packs someday, I hope they take some time and rework Dinobot so he looks more cartoon accurate, that reissue of him is great, but no way is it accurate to his cartoon likeness.. Dinobot is the Beast wars equivalent to Starscream in terms of popularity!!!

to me though, Lio Convoy was the equivalent to Optimus Prime of G-1, and if they ever stick Lio Convoy in a cartoon I would hope that they cast Peter Cullen as the voice actor that would be cool...

dinobot FTW! i often wondered why could Tak/bro do a SIMPLE remold of dinobot's face...i mean, they would only have to mold the mouth and remove the facemask right? it's really a terrible oversight on their part.

Beast Wars 2 had its share of dinobot remolds, like Thrustol, looking at them they've got awesome remolded robot heads, i wonder why can't they do the same for 'ol chopperface? (note: the teeth on dinobot is painted on a flat face, not molded and painted)

i'd like to disagree with ya here bro, IMHO Primal's the much more likelier equivalent of G1 OP, at least in my opinion.

I can see why you'd equate that, I mean Optimus Primal had his own US show, and was successfully portrayed as a good leader in that series, though what I was saying was if they ever did a newer cartoon with Leo Prime as the main dude, or a cameo with him in it, I would want Peter Cullen to voice him.. Leo Prime looks like a Maximal Upgrade of G-1 Optimus Prime to me, he's a majestic White lion, king of the beasts and all, plus the head is almost a dead likeness for G-1 Prime..

Well the battle mask hides his head in beast mode. They would have to add some kind of cover if they removed it.

ofcourse, you could always try to locate the RM-23 DVD version, with metallic Red, like they release for the Optimus Prime..

If your a Beast Wars fan and your reading this, so it's not a petition, but get the word out, we want comic packs akin to Marvel Legends, Gi Joe, and Star Wars... Why should those other properties Hasbro owns get theirs and not us?? Support the cause, leave feedback here.. spread the idea to other transformers sites, lets get more fans to open their minds to the idea and get some freaking IDW comics and Toys at the same time!!..

there will be 2 class sizes... leaderclass/Voyager.. and the deluxe versions... both boxed or bubblecarded will come with an IDW comic and A special Beast Wars figure, or Classics, or repaint of another previously released.. ofcourse I'd rather just keep it in one series at a time like just do a Beast wars run of four figures first, then if that sells, then make some more or go for different series...like classics or classicss 2.0..either way People..

Please Spread the word...

how about a recruitment type theme or a picture of Lio Convoy and a comic version...or something asking if you want comic packs of your favorite Beast Wars toys..

Damn if I had an IDW Beast wars comic and a disposable marvel legends figure, I'd open him up, place Lio Convoy RM-22 in there in place of the figure and with a comic in place of the marvel one and snap pics for a reference..

thanks there has to be a figure that matches his bulkiness somewhat..maybe Hulk?? I'll see if there are any Marvel legends in the comic shops that are bargains.. and maybe try it, if not I guess I could get an AFA plastic box and do it that way..
