Here is a proposal I have for both of your companies, Hasbro and IDW... Please release Beast Wars packs based off the widely popular IDW Beast Wars comics series, with collector friendly packaging. You can easily import the Beast Wars toys and Mold from Takara Tomy Japan, and add to them really good Paint Applications for mass release. This idea would supplement the Beast Wars fans need for new figures, and you can release them with special IDW comics inside as well. Similar to the "Marvel legends" License you now hold.
We here on seibertron.com now know that Hasbro employees and executives regularly browse our forums and chat sites looking for fan feedback and ideas to help in your production of particular toylines. In some cases you have answered our cries, like with the "Super Metal Finish" toys you have released through various mass retail chain outlets.
There are many molds of Japanese design and characters in Japan that have been produced, sadly they have never made their way to our shores through a mass retail release, either due to cost constraints of producing a new cartoon series, or new directions taken by the Transformers Franchise. I offer a solution to both dilemas, comic book media and simultaneous advertisement all in one package!
This idea is simply a proposal for your company to take and contimplate with great care. Hopefully with enough fan feedback in this thread and maybe others around the internet, your executives and corporation will feel that this idea would be beneficial to your companies marketing and Financial gains. Not to mention the joint marketing and exposure through IDW publications and Diamond distribution in the "comic book store" markets. Please consider this proposal as a request from humble fans who are in desperation and looking forward to receiving new Beast Wars products. Please take our request seriously and into consideration..Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Adam S.C. Meyer, A.K.A. Skywarp-2

They really don't need to spend much in terms of figure molds since they are already made. They might need to modify them a bit to comply with Child Safety laws, but should be relatively easy.
Having an easily opened box, and storage sleeve for the comic would also be awesome. Of curse we can't get away from the twisty ties, but once removed the figure can fit snuggly in a plastic tray, that can be easily removed.
I'd love a Big Convoy, and a Lio convoy release.
I think its a pretty good idea and second it or is it 5th it? ohh whatever, I'm completely for it.
Great Idea Skywarp.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Dead Metal wrote:Oh yes more BW with comics!
Two passions coming together!
And how about Transformers based on the IDW designs?
And we could have just like the Marvel toys a line that comes with a part of a different bigger toy, so that once we have the line we get a big robot as an extra!![]()
And please release tease all in Germany! (at a better price, and more mature, so there will be more interest)

skywarp-2 wrote:Well all fine and dandy guys, you raised some great ideas and points too!! I think the Beast Wars Gathering idea was a cool way togo, I think it was i_amtrunks who said that it would be too costly for Hasbro to do it.. I disagree to that my friend.... I think that the Hasbro Beast Wars figures and subsequent Lines released in Japan are very much a sought after series, judging by the response to the comics, it's because of the characters in those comics, like Leo Prime, Magmatron, and Galvatron and others that drives the Beast Wars series from IDW on, and on.. there's more then just Optimus Primal and Megatron out there, and IDW showed that to Berast Wars fans, who now have an utter insatiable craving for more and more!! Anyway Hasbro cuts it, fans of the Beasties are finding out that there is more then meets the eye to their favorite series..
Besides, the Gi Joe comic Packs and Star Wars comic packs are geared towards collectors anyhow, so the costs associated with producing them as a "Risk" is just the same, only in this case it's with figures that are highly anticipated and fans have been waiting for a U.S. release for about 10 years!! It's high time that Beast Wars fans get some cool characters in finally... and for those who read my early suggestions on the first wave of Beast Wars toys, here is why I suggested Crazybolt.. as a Prehistoric dinosaur and predessesor to the modern lizard, he rocks!!
oh and here is a treat from the IDW comic front page, Leo Prime and Razorback (Randy)...
we need these comic packs, please Hasbro..

I agree, the more posts and attention this thread gets, the mor elikely someone out there in Hasbro may take notice, besides I want to hear fan feedback on this toy line idea sa much as i can get so that Hasbro takes a real serious look at what they have potentially as a cool and marketable toy line!! Heck reissue some classics too.. that ways I can maybe get Thundercracker in comic coloring (still keeping the Botcon one viable) and Skywarp in his own spotlight comic with his figure..
come on guys lets rock the foundations of fan support here.. IDW's Beast Wars comics are really hot!! the art work is fantastic, and even if your a strict machinery guy, help us Beast Wasr fans out.. Hook a brotha up!! I happen to like both machinery transformers and beasties..it's ok to like them both..
