New stratagies, or old ones...
- Motto: "Ask and Thou Shalt Receive..."
- Weapon: Double-Barreled, Armor-Piercing Particle Beam Cann...
So I'm just wondering, how many of the old timers actually remember the first few days they brought their teams online? I mean, is everyone gonna be hitting the arena til level 2? Are the missions gonna be completely forsaken? Or is everyone gonna fill up whatever they can? It doesn't seem to matter, though it seems that if you want the xp fast enough to rebuild what you had, you are gonna go to the arena first. The minimal ammount of xp you get from a bunch of 6 v 6 lvl 0s isn't that great...
Just my thoughts and questions...

The arena is a second choice place for me. I use it as a last resort, so for my bots it'll be the missions.

Re: New stratagies, or old ones...
Back when I first started I was in the arenas alot, because it had auto-CR and missions didn't.
This time round, I know where the fun and the XP is to be had.

With no higher level bots to smoosh you from above?
Might as well do missions - it's like multiple simultaneous arena matches, with bullet sponges to hide behind!
Besides, it'd be fun to actually fight alongside my wife.

Arena?
I honestly cant rembmer being at the arse end of the game, but it wouldnt matter anyway for two reasons:
1: Most things have changed since I went from arse end to head end of the game.
2: I've been in contact with new people ever since i left the arse end who have told me how to cope with the arse end.
What I will say is, Im not sure how I'll cope with them id levels, they are the hardest part of the game to truely master IMO.

I didn't do the arena last time i was level 0, certainly not going to do it this time.
and if i could setup level 0s to take down level 2s on other peoples team before the storm, i think i should be able to cope with my team at level 0.

I'll be seeing you all in missions. As for my bots I'm going to add another medic. Rictor Prime is going back to being a Semi. Streets is going back to the road.

A low level medic?
A low level medic in a HMW where EVERYBODY is also low level, and as such no one has any endurence?
Pfft, good luck.

Ahh, you mean the kind with only a tiny bit of repair, LOADS of int, LOADS of rnk and no str right?
You know, the ones that tend to carry a red robot's face on their chest (or unmentionables if they're Jazz).

Gotta cover the Basics. Heavy Hitting Rammers first, Avoiders, Strafers, and Medics Last.

Rammers ARE the heavy hitters...
And there's nothing basic about a medic's build and it's needs as far as allies is concerned...
