I'd to make a custom Orion Pax using the head that came with the 2nd release of Faith Leader, but i haven't a clue as to which base figure i could use.

I'd like to use a voyager class figure with a Cybertronian alt-mode...

Thoughts?

Well, the real hurdle will be the size of the head. How big is it?

Well it's designed to fit on Faith Leader, so i reckon a voyager body could do the trick

The only Voyagers I can come up with that have "cybertronian" modes don't really seem appropriate, like Cybertron Vector Prime.

Depending on what your skills are, maybe you could kitbash something like Universe Inferno into a more Cybertronian truck?

Yeah, it's an awful pity WFC Prime wasn't voyager class.

The Inferno mold could work, good idea.

Also, i'm toying with the idea of using an animated voyager Prime as the base.

Animated Wreck-gar body? Or perhaps movie Ironhide or Ratchet? The Animated Prime body would probably work the best though.

I'm happy with the custom head I bought a few years ago. It is on the e-hobby Kup repaint with repro labels stickers.

If it didn't need to be Voyager, then Generations Kup would be great (in my opinion), although his alt mode is probably too realistic. I can't think of any Voyager molds that seem like they'd be good.

Maybe the race car Iron Man or one of the Star Wars Crossovers? I don't really pay attention to them but the altmodes could be more appropriate.

They're an odd size class - bigger than Deluxes, but smaller than most Voyagers. The head might be a TAD too big...

Energon Landquake? Leaving off the Powerlinx bits anyway, looks like it could be interesting. It's not a Voyager, but the base robot is more or less in a similar size range. Looks kind of "non-Earthy" too.

Landquake's already got decent colors for a start, too, otherwise if you want to completely repaint it there's always the original Landmine version of the mold.
