Profile: Cruel, vicious and utterly dedicated to Megatron's ideals, Blackout could be considered an icon of true Decepticonism. He is contemptuous of the misguided Autobots and will carry out his orders without a moment's hesitation. He has ambitions for command, but only at the small unit level; he believes no 'Con is as fit for command as Megatron is, an attitude that will put him at odds with others such as Starscream.
Abilities: Blackout's forearm cannons are large-caliber slugthrowers, with a maximum range of 2km. His powerful plasma cannon is concealed with in his chest, which he uses to his advantage to surprise enemies. The cannon has a maximum range of 10km. Both weapon systems are only usable in robot mode.
His helicopter mode has a pair of missile launchers mounted alongside the main fuselage; their maximum range is 75km. In robot mode, he may detach the set of rotor blades on his back and wield it as a close combat weapon.
One of the most powerful weapons in Blackout's arsenal are the EMP emitters located in his hands and feet. He is able to transmit the pulses through direct contact, in addition to projecting them along solid surfaces (akin to lightning striking a body of water). When used as such, the pulses can travel for up to 250 meters.
In helicopter mode, he can fly at just under Mach 1, and has a range of 2,000km.
Weaknesses: With heavy armor, devastating firepower and great physical strength, Blackout has few weaknesses. However, the contempt in which he holds his opponents can lead to him overlooking things, making tactical errors, or otherwise leave himself vulnerable.
Sample Post: Blackout's photoreceptors picked out the slight shift of amongst the gunmetal wreckage. Hmmm, he inwardly computed, an Autobot scout. An excellent use of camouflage, but not good enough.
With surprising stealth for one of his size, he crept through the ruined city towards his target. Countless months of fighting had reduced it to a slag-pit filled with combatants reduced to stalking each other individually, battlelines having dissolved into simply bases of operations that the opposing sides operated out of.
Today had been slow; earlier he had exchanged fire with an Autobot but the slippery little fragger had managed to get away. He'd pursued as far as he dared, but eventually given up and continued to sweep the area; now it looked like he might have actually found the runt.
Blackout paused as he was about to make the final dash to the Autobot's position. Something wasn't right, this was too easy...
A ruby beam of energy lanced past him, within a fingerspan of his chest. Blast! A sniper?! he howled to himself. How did he spot me?! He dropped to prone, a second shot slashing through where he'd just been standing. This Autobot was a decent shot, at least against a stationary target.
Rolling to his left, he sprang back to his feet and powered through the wall in front of him. As soon as he was through it, he jumped and triggered his transformation, feeling the familiar process as his body folded in on itself and reconfigured into a helicopter. Gaining speed, he oriented himself towards where he guessed the Autobot was hidden, a building about two miles off. Loosing a pair of heat-seekers, he watched them acquire and home in on his target.
A third laser shot stabbed out and pierced one missile, bursting it into a cloud of orange fire. The second one continued to zero in on the sniper, only to be distracted by a cleverly-thrown hand-flare. It didn't matter; Blackout had traced the sniper's shot back to its source and hurtled towards it at close to the speed of sound. Just before impact, he transformed again in mid-air, smashing through the flimsy wall and somersaulted into the room beyond. Coming up in a crouch with his arm raised, he and and his target drew beads on each other at the same time. Both shots went wide as they spun out of the line of fire.
Stepping back out of cover, he didn't see the 'Bot, but heard a revving sound. Looking down, he saw a blue truck come hurtling towards him; it fragmented and then reconstructed itself into his opponent, shoulder-slamming his chest. Spinning with the impact, he hurled the 'Bot past him. As the two combatants faced each other again, Blackout saw the knife in the sniper's hand. Sweeping out his own weapon, he swung the slightly-fanned blades and grazed its chest. Sparks flew and it quickly learned, so he missed on the reverse stroke. Grinning savagely, he used the momentum of the second swing to snap the rotor blades to their fully extended position.
Hurling the blades towards his foe like a throwing star, it dodged as he had expected, but took its attention off him long enough for him to close to arms length. Seizing it by the throat, he grinned as its photoreceptors widened in fear. He even welcomed the pain of the knife stabbing into his side. With a bestial roar, he deployed his chest cannon and fired it point-blank at the Autobot's spark housing. Three times. The first shot was sufficient to do the job, the other two were for fun. Its photoreceptors dimmed as the sound of the last shot died away, so he knew it had felt all three before it had died.
Casting aside the shattered body, Blackout retrieved his rotor blades and reattached them. It was just as he was about to transform that he realized he still had the knife stuck in his side. Pulling it free, he saw it was of inferior Autobot design. Disgusted that such a thing had even scratched him, he snapped it in two.
Nearby, he heard the sounds of a motor, then a vehicle speeding off. He realized that it was first Autobot he had spotted and it was escaping. "That's alright," he said aloud to the corpse. "One of Lord Megatron's favorite tactics: kill all except one, then let it live to carry back the terror." With a savage laugh, he transformed and headed out to hunt those who would inevitably come.

Profile:
Created for the sole purpose of espionage, Nighthawk is the literal definition of here one minute, gone the next. Having been fitted with a state of the art cloaking device at the time of his creation, allowing him to literally disappear from site for up to 3 hours and a hologram projector, allowing him to create a distraction, should he be found on a mission, Nighthawk is the best man for any kind of spy mission. Having been trained for the last three years since his creation in the art of espionage, Razorbeast can get into anywhere undetected (almost). Although invisible to the naked optic, Nighthawk’s cloaking device does not secrete him from radar and such other scanning devices. Nighthawk is extremely loyal to his superiors, and if needs be is willing to fight for peace until his spark is extinguished. Having said that, Nighthawk is not a particularly able combat fighter, trained in the use of his weaponry to take out his enemies with one shot and being trained in the best ways to disable an opponent with one blow, which causes Nighthawk problems should he be involved in prolonged battles. Although a usually joyful Autobot, Nighthawk finds it difficult to really connect with other Autobots due to his natural espionage programming, making him seem a bit of a loner and sometimes causing severe bouts of depression.
Abilities:
Cloaking device, rendering Nighthawk completely invisible from the naked optic for up to three hours before needing to recharge. However, can be detected by devices such as radar. Has the ability to create a hologram should he need to. Skilled with his double-barrelled laser blaster, which although a generally average weapon, has been known to take out Decepticons with one hit in Nighthawk’s hands. Stun guns in vehicle mode are able to stun and sometimes render enemies unconscious for periods of time.
Weaknesses:
Nighthawk’s lack of fighting knowledge can cause him to suffer whilst involved in long battles. His blaster has also been known to not always operate at full capacity, while his bouts of depression tend to render him ineffective for that time, making him unreliable.

“Ok Nighthawk, we’re gonna turn the lights on. You have 2 hours to get yourself out of there, with the required information and without setting off any alarms.” Came the voice of Optimus Prime through the Comm system.
“Got it.” Nighthawk replied.
“Good. See you on the other side.” Optimus replied.
Suddenly the pitch-black room Nighthawk had been in was bathed in light. Nighthawk jumped slightly at the intensity of the lights.
‘Computer.’ He thought. ‘Activate visor. Set light filter at 25%’
‘Acknowledged.’ His computer replied.
A visor extended down from the top of Nighthawk’s head, covering his eyes and instantly making the room appear darker to Nighthawk. Once the visor had clicked into place, Nighthawk immediately activated a hologram of the layout of the place. His objective was approximately twenty clicks away. Easy enough to get to, except that along the way were thirty synthebots, all created to resemble some of the greatest warriors of the Autobot army, before then being implanted with said warriors battle skills as well.
Nighthawk deactivated the hologram and immediately formulated a plan of action. Nighthawk reached down to his side and disconnected a decoy bomb, like a real bomb, it made a very loud noise, but unlike a real bomb, it didn’t explode. Nighthawk activated the decoy bomb, which was one of many additional weapons Prime had given him for the training exercise and threw it against a wall. As soon as the decoy hit the wall, it ‘exploded’ and as soon as it exploded, two synthebots came thundering down the adjacent hallway, wondering what the source of the supposed explosion was. As soon as Nighthawk heard their footsteps, he activated his cloaking device and waited. Soon enough the two synthebots came into view, side by side, each looking equally bemused. Nighthawk got out his weapon and changed the view of his visor to show him each synthebots weakest point, so that he knew the quickest way to take them out. As soon as his computer had calculated and shown Nighthawk where these positions were, he let fire, instantly neutralising them.
‘That was easy enough. Just 28 more to go. Great…’ He thought

Abilties: His stinger can discharge fluids harmful to mechanical and organic life; corrosive acids, destructive catalysts, paralyzing toxins, and others. Stinger can penetrate 1/4 inch steel, but sometimes gets stuck and breaks off. Flies at 15mph for 300 miles. Carries electro-blaster in robot form.

Sample Post: Venom was terrified. But then again, he always was. This time it was Scourge. He just knew the sweep leader was trying to have him killed to take the insecticons and make them sweeps. But not anymore. No, Venom had a plan. He was going to poison Scourge. Venom's plan was simple. Drop an amnesia pill into Scourge's drink. He'll forget the whole plan.
Venom snuck up on the cafeteria guard. Acting quickly, he bit the guard on his neck. Sure he could have just shown his ID, but the guard was probobly part of scourge's conspiracy. acting quickly, Venom ransacked the kichen and looked for Scourge's morning ration of oil. Upon finding it, Venom dropped the amnesia poison into his drink. Using his altmode, he flew out of the room, right as skyjack walked in. "uhhhhn... What was that noise... (ignore Unicronian symbols)
Profile: Compared to Turmoil, the most potent Cybertronian energy projectors are second-rate light bulbs. Turmoil seethes with energy, and to prevent himself from exploding he must constantly vent it. Naturally, being an indefinitely postponed explosion has taken an immense toll on his sanity. Turmoil is extremely paranoid, jumpy…and will use any opportunity to realize the forces that rage within him.
Abilities: While the likes of Sunstorm and Shrapnel may have to occasionally vent excess energy, Turmoil must do so constantly, simply to prevent his body from blowing itself to bits. Thus he is constantly surrounded by a crackling aura of destructive energy. He can project this energy into bolts of highly destructive power or expand the field around him to destroy anything in his path. He also possesses all of the standard Sweep weapons and tracking systems, although his unique nature often interferes with their functioning.
Weaknesses: His paranoid nature makes him distrustful of even his fellow Sweeps. In turn his explosive nature makes other Decepticons avoid him if at all possible. His volatile powers mean he must unleash the energy within him on a regular basis or risk exploding.

Kolkular - Medical bay
Turmoil sat up as the medical bots completed their diagnosis. He turned and faced one.
"So did you find out why I'm leaking my own energy?"
"No. The cause of this is still unknown."
"I'm guessing that means you can't fix it, right?"
"Right."
Turmoil grunted from the strain of trying to hold in the energy that was erupting from his body.
"No! Do not fight it. Let it go."
"Why would I not try to keep my energy from escaping me? Why should let any of it just go to waste?"
"I'm afraid the amount of energy escaping your body is too great. If you don't let it out, you'll blow yourself to pieces."
"I'd rather go out in a pretty explosion than wait until my energy runs out and my life support systems shut down."
"I'm afraid it doesn't work that way. Though massive amounts of energy are being lost, your power levels aren't going down. Rather, they are going up."
"What does that mean?"
"It means that you must let energy constantly leave you, and to keep up with the constant increase, you must occasionally release larger amounts."
"Will it ever end?"
"No."
-----------------
Turmoil snapped out of his daze at the sound of Scourge's voice calling him. He then realized what was happening. He was about to explode. Quickly, he aimed his weapons towards the sky, away from Kaon, and blasted a masssive amount of energy away.
"That was close."
Why? Why can't I have one moment where I don't have to worry about exploding? Why can't I let my mind wander for even a minute? And why do my thoughts always turn to the day this all began? Why can't I think of the time before this happened, before I had this problem?
And then he realized
I can't even remember those days anymore.

Snarl
Allegiance: Autobots
Sub-group: Dinobots
Function: Warrior
Alt mode: Robotic Stegosaurus
Abilities: Solar power generators (Able to store solar energy in order to increase strength)
Weapons: Sword, Laser pistol
Height: 33ft / 10.06m
Quote: “Only in war is there happiness.”
Strength: 09
Intelligence: 06
Dexterity: 03
Speed: 03
Endurance: 09
Courage: 08
Firepower: 03
Accuracy: 02
Melee: 07
Tech Skill: 04
Charisma: 03
Rank: 05
Profile: An Autobot of few words and fewer opinions, Snarl grudgingly follows the orders of Dinobot leader Grimlock and leaves the thinking to others. He's generally unhappy and a loner, and his uncommunicative nature only adds to his feelings of isolation. Only the thrill of battle can elevate his spirits. In fact, few of his comrades experience the joyous heights that Snarl attains while locked in mortal combat.
Abilities: His unique design makes Snarl particularly useful in sunny, arid environments. The large golden plates protruding from his spinal assembly are solar collectors. Although he can operate without sunlight, solar energy can increase his strength tenfold and his endurance to a virtually limitless degree. At his top speed, he can shatter a 20-foot concrete cube on impact. His heavily armored hide makes him resistant to most missile fire.
Weaknesses: Snarl's dependency on sunlight makes him extremely vulnerable to attack at night. Although he can use the same fuel the other Autobots use, he operates at only a fraction of his strength when he does. He is also very slow and his uncooperative behavior patterns sometimes hinder his effectivess in dangerous situations.
Sample post:
Snarl looked into the sky and watched as the seeker drew closer to his position. It was odd that the ‘con had not fired on the Dinobot yet. He was well within firing range. Perhaps the seeker was not paying attention to what lay below, or perhaps the seeker did not recognize Snarl as a danger. Snarl was, after all, in dinosaur mode. On Earth, he would be referred to as a Stegosaurus, a large four-legged, prehistoric beast with plates lining his back and metal spikes at the tip of his tail. On Cybertron, his new alt mode was as alien to the robotic inhabitants as a Cybertronian would be to humans. Snarl wasn’t exactly thrilled with his new form, either. He preferred his original armored tank mode that he had before his brief trip to Earth. Being reformatted into a dinosaur was not exactly a fun experience, but it had been a necessary one. Besides, his new form wasn’t all bad. He was still able to cause a lot of damage to the Decepticons, and that’s really all that mattered to him. He would get used to it in time.
As the seeker flew overhead, Snarl let out a growl and pointed his tail spikes skyward. Lasers shot from the spikes, striking the seeker dead center on the underbelly. The ‘con plummeted to the ground and crashed in a smoky heap. The Dinobot plodded towards the fallen seeker. He found that the Decepticon, while badly damaged, was still functioning and had transformed into robot mode. Seeing the strange metal creature before him, the ‘con forced himself to his feet and brought his weapons to bare. He fired several shots directly at Snarl, but they just bounced off the Dino’s tough metal hide. Snarl barely noticed.
“What the slag are you?” the seeker asked, knowing his fate was most certainly sealed.
Snarl groaned at the ‘con’s ridiculous question and replied, “Me Snarl, not Slag, stupid Decepticon!” And with that, Snarl charged forward, attempting to ram the seeker. The ‘con dodged right, avoiding the Dinobot. Angry that his missed, Snarl made up for it by swinging his spiked tail around, striking the seeker in the legs and causing him to tumble backwards. The ‘con landed hard on his back. Snarl then transformed into ‘bot mode and stood over the fallen seeker, sword in hand. “Me Snarl win again!” And with that, Snarl swung his sword down and decapitated the seeker in one swift stroke. Sparks flew as the head rolled away from the body and came to rest near Snarl’s foot. The Dinobot bent down and picked up the severed cranium. Snarl looked directly into the dead seeker’s eyes and smiled, which he didn’t often do. After a moment, he then tossed the head to the side and returned to Dino-mode. Snarl lumbered away, content with his victory. Another dead ‘con. Another job well done.

Charisma: 5
Rank: 6?
Profile: Constructed with an innate ability to detect the flaws in any material, Banzai-Tron did not use this gift for mundane tasks, but turned to the dangerous martial art of Crystalocution, where his gifts made him a master. When the war began, he joined the Decepticons, as they were more amenable to his habit of selling the remains of his defeated opponents for scrap.
Banzai-Tron became affiliated with the Decepticon Intelligence Unit, working as a "recruiter" of other mechs with martial arts skills, and an executioner for those with Autobot leanings. This continued until the day he went after Mirage: What exactly happened is unclear, but Banzai-Tron returned to Decepticon lines barely in one piece, and Mirage was soon Spymaster for the Autobot cause.
His transformation circuitry damaged beyond repair in the fight, Banzai-Tron had the bodies of several defeated martial artists cannablised, and had himself rebuild in a new body, designed for maximum fighting skill but without transformation abilities. The new Action Master continues his battles, augmented by his abilities, waiting for the day he can settle the score with Mirage.
Abilities: Banzai-Tron's new body is strong, agile, and extremely tough, with a Polyweave coating designed to leave almost no weak points. He is lightly but effectively armed with a Photon Nuetraliser submachinegun, with a vibro-blade bayonet attached to make a weapon usable in almost all situations. His main offensive abilities are in his optics however, with his ability to locate even the smallest flaw in a material, allowing him to exploit it with his knowledge of Crystalocution. What appears to be a poke from his fingers or a scratch from his bayonet can split open all but the toughest or most cunningly constructed armor, or send deadly feedback into internal systems, taking his opponents apart from the inside.
Weaknesses: As powerful and effective as Banzai-Tron's new body is, it still lacks any ability to transform, leaving the powerful warrior to rely on other Decepticons or his own legs for transport. Agile though he may be, he is far from the fastest runner. He is also supremely confident in his abilities, with good reason, but is infamous for never backing down from a one-on-one fight or even taking on 2 or 3 lesser opponents at once. Finally, his defeat by Mirage is always in the back of his mind, and the normally casual and unserious warrior will jump at the slightest chance to revenge himself on the Autobot Spymaster.
Sample Post:
The 3 Autobots huddled in the bunker as the bombardment thundered outside.
"..gonnadiegonnadiegonnadiegonnadie"
"SHUT UP, Shuffle! We're safe in here. The 'Cons can fire everything they have at us, they won't get in. I built this place to last."
"I know you're a good engineer, Dumpbox, but there are limits....Hey, I think they've stopped."
Radar was right: The rumble of heavy shells and deadened whine of proton blasts had dissappeared. The only noise from outside was an irregular *Thukthukthuk*.
"Sounds like...tapping."
Dumpbox scoffed. "That's the sound of the biggest battering rams they got, bouncing off the Tritanium. I tell you lads, we jsut gotta wait for reinforcements and..."
A deafening *crack* silenced with. A seam appeared in the far wall, moving up and around, and a 4 mechanometer square section of Dumpbox's masterpiece fell inwards. In the new doorway was framed a single, unusually decorated mech.
"Telegram for a Mr. Shuffle", came Banzai-Tron's voice.
"There's only one! Blast him!"
Banzai-tron charged forward, concentrating on dodging the laser blasts from the panicked Shuffle and the ill-trained Dumpbox: The powerful sonic blasts from the veteran Radar were absorbed by his polyweave armor. Charging into Radar, Banzai-Tron blocked his opponents hastily-drawn vibroknife with his own, and played his right hand across the warriors frame. Radar saw too late that his delicate Sonic distruptors had been thrown completely out of alignment, before his own weapons tore him apart.
With the large construction mech advancing on him, Banzai-Tron threw the remains of Dumpbox's friend in his face. The distraction was enough for him to swing his bayonet around and through the rotation joints of the big mech's hands. Dumpbox, shocked at this loss, offered no resistance as Banzai-Tron found the leverage to sweep his legs out from under him, busting his right knee as he fell. Banzai-Tron vaulted over the fallen mech, saying "I'd stay down if I were you" as he did.
Shuffle blazed away with his laser pistol at the advancing Decepticon, unable to draw a bead as the Action Master flipped and cartwheeled at random. Then the bleep of an empty energy cell sounded from the pistol. Shuffle fumbled for a replacement, only for Banzai-Tron's Photon Nuetraliser to fly out of the shadows and knock both weapons across the bunker.
"Relying on guns a bit too much, Shuffle? I thought you were supposed to be a big Circuit-su Master, body and mind united, striking with the speed of computation etc etc. You know, I've never really got what all that stuff was about, and I've killed a far few Circuit-su users in my time." Banzai-Tron entered a duelling stance. "Maybe you'll finally be the one to show me".
Mentally cursing himself for having such a big mouth, Shuffle reluctantly entered a stance of his own.

Profile: Sneakiest of the Insecticons... if it's not bolted to the floor, it's not safe from his greedy grasp. No challenge is too great; the more difficult something is to steal, the more he wants to steal it. (Taken from official tech specs.)
Abilities: As insect, flies 30mph with two small jets on his back. Pincer-like antennae can slice through 2-inch thick steel. Can carry 30 tons. (Again, from official tech specs.)
Weaknesses: Chop Shop's inability to resist a challenge often puts him in dangerous situations. Also, his incessant stealing from Decepticon HQ means he has to constantly cover his tracks to avoid facing Megatron's retribution.
Sample post:
Kolkular - corridors
Chop Shop clutched his prize and carefully looked around to check that no one was watching. The corridors were empty, as usual. Chop Shop found the room he was seeking: a ruined room that had been wrecked by a new recruit with faulty friend-or-foe sensors. Due to lack of interest by other cons, no one had bothered to fix the room. it suited Chop Shop just fine however.
He moved some rubble aside and opened the trapdoor he created. He crawled down and placed his latest prize among the various other items he stole. It was the perfect hiding spot, and so far only he knew about it.
"I hope."

Profile: Bladewolf is an Assassain for hire. She will shoot you in the back, if someone paid more and wouldn't care. Before the war she was a junk yard scavanger, taking what she needed and selling it. When the war broke out she took to hiding and defended her "Home" with her Blade and Gun. After a while she realized that she was extremly effective at killing specific targets and tried to make a name for herself as an assassin. Her armour is light so she can move quickly and is more flexable.
Abilities: Her eye sight is her greatest ally. With or without a scoped weapon she could fire and hit her target in the main mass or the head, but it depends on the range and the size of the target. Her speed is average but her Alt. Mode also provides easier flexability and movement through crowded areas.
Weakness: She will do almost anything to protect her "home" and her self. She will also do almost anything for the payment, and attempt to take on any mission she can, her biggest weakness is her lack of communication skills, since she works and lives alone and finds almost anyone to be a threat, so finding a job is tough.
Sample Post: Bladewolf crouched in a pile of scrap metal, looking around for her target. She was hired to "remove" a certain autobot from a neutral zone. She scouted the landscape with her rifle but knew she had to be close enough not to miss, or risk being spotted, because her rifle energy was growing low and had to be replaced or replenished soon. The only thing she knew about her target is that he was a rather tall autobot with heavy armour on the body. She spotted him walking through a battle torn street looking around from side to side, nervously. She carefully aimed for his head and calculated how far and how long it would take for the laser bolt to hit its target. The autobot looked her way just as she fired and was hit square in the forehead and was knocked to the ground. "Gotcha..." She muttered standing and sneaking over to the downed autobot. "Okay... lets see what we have here..." She muttered not knowing weither the autobot was alive or dead. She tried to pick up the autobots weapon but found it too heavy, so she stole the autobots fuel and tried to see what else she could steal but only found that the fuel and the secondary weapon were carryable. She stole them and left the autobot laying there and went off to get her reward.

rank ????(I'd like to presume he was in the army previously, so could it be a little bit high?)
Profile: Kick-Off spent nearly a full vorn inside a Decepticon prison in Polyhex, where he was forced by his captors to fight his own teammates in brutal gladiatorial combat. Kick-Off did everything he could to survive... and everything he could to learn the inner workings of the Decepticons' security measures. After his rescue, he put this knowledge to good use as a member of the Autobots.
abilities: Nothing special other than having a jet pack, and being an action master, but he does have excellant martial arts skills.
Weaknesses: Being an action master, he can't transform. Also, he's a very bitter robot, who prefers to work alone. He also tends to get too worked up when it comes to enacting revenge on his former captors for his own good.
Sample post (and this is considered RPG-Canon):
Skyjack walked out of the pub, celebrating his sucess in the fall of Tagan. Kick-off was waiting for him. "Hello, Skyjack," He said. "I'm Kick-off. You're gonna die." After saying this he punched the spy straight in his chest. While he was down, Kick off tried to burn him with his flame thrower, but Skyjack dodged, firing at him with his missle launcher. Kick-off dodged and kneed skyjack in the gearbox. While the spy was stunned by the attack, Kick-off finished him with his signature attack, A roundhouse kick to the head. Skyjack was out cold. "That felt good," Kick-off said, and walked away.
