Sideswipe looks cool, but that Ironhide is the ugliest Gundam based bash I have ever seen, EVER!

Whens the last time you took a look at a Alternators Skids???????You might be right about the arms..... but from what I can see the leg are all Alt.Shids.....no modifing at all...just a removel of the bumber pease.

Wow... the only thing about the Ironhide that could remotely be Skids is the head... Everything else was taken from a Gundam and some model van. Yes the transformation is similar, but no, it's not Skids.

Just some quick notes:
The feet are altogether different.
The lower legs are smooth and round on Ironhide, on Skids they're blocky.
The knees on Ironhide appear to be double jointed, Skids, I know are not.
The lower leg near the ankle on Ironhide is a piece separate of the outta skin. Skids is just a ball for a ball-socket joint.
The back/roof is completely homemade.
The waist/hips on Ironhide feature flaps and appear to be a ball/socket deal. Skids waist is not.

And while it's awesome as a kitbash, it's not a MP. That big open area in the torso/cab throws off the look. That and his beer belly.

If they did ironhide as a Masterpiece, i would bet the chest would have a fold down capability with a flat look to it to better model the cartoon.. we shall see, but CP is right we need an Ultra Magnus complete first off..

Guess your right...It must have been a case of seeing what I wanted to see.I'm working on a Alt.Skids to Ironhide bash as we speek.

It happens. But yeah, with the number of Skids that are painted into Ironhide it's easy to figure this is just another one. This guy actually made a Ratchet too of similar style. Someone who's more up on custom work could actually tell you who made them.

I want it to be...... Thundercracker or Rodimus Prime

I suspect that they'll wait at least one release before putting out TC. My guess is he'll be MP-09.

I'd really like an MP perfect magnus. I missed out on the MP-02 and I just refuse to shell out $200 for one.

Yea, I'd like an MP Ironhide, Wheeljack or Grimlock, but I'd love a Soundwave more. I agree with a few folks from the thread that the Alt/Binal line does a good enough job of representing the 'Bots.

If it was up to me I'd pick Soundwave for the next Masterpiece.

I would not include a music gimmick, not because I wouldn't want one, but because I wouldn't want to shell out the extra $$$ they'd invariably charge for it. Heck if I could have gotten a music label SW without the player for like $20 instead of the $100 I'd have much preferred that.
