Shockwave, Omega Supreme, Trypticon and Skylynx all had working electronic gimmicks, and the gimmick more often than not compromised the toy design (i.e., a specific leg design so that the "walking" gimmicks could work).

oh?
how about the following:
-Metroplex (except the scale)
-Skylynx
-Omega Supreme
-Grapple
-Inferno
-Laserbeak/Buzzsaw
-Soundwave/ Blaster
-Cosmos
i may have missed some out, but if the following do not look EVEN remotely like their cartoon counterparts, then i dunno what will.
cellshock wrote:BEST THING
- design/mold variation
- number of characters
- number of subgroups & teams
WORST THING
- lack of size consistency
- lack of articulation
- loose weapons, fists, add-on parts, etc.
- the out of left field design & color changes from TFTM onwards
- inability of 95% of the figures to look good in BOTH modes
- lack of bot modes looking anything like the cartoon/comic
- no Skyfire toy ever made
