Man, coming back in here I still can't believe how early we got these listings....
So slight update on the next year listings, courtesy of TFW's HyperShauta and temporarily-resurrected JTPrime17:

Note on the waves, there has been an adjustment. Vortex will be taking Swindle’s original place in wave 2 in the updated case assortments it seems (hence the product number reassignment). Swindle will be a later wave figure.

Guess that definitively clears up the "which Swindle is it" speculation while also conveniently strengthening the Nexus Prime theory...

It retroactively provides an answer to the first counter-argument/question that was posed when I mentioned the Superion + Bruticus = Nexus theory:

Plus the confirmation that it's actual Combaticons/Bruticus at all helps a lot, since starting with just Swindle was basically the only way they could release a Combaticon character without inherently soft-confirming the rest of the team. Adding Vortex to the equation brings the rest of the team with him, thereby promoting the "we'll have everything we need for a new Nexus" assertion from an assumption to a fact.

Or I could just be completely off-base and the team just really wants to make a Gen Selects Alpha Bravo, who knows.

I think "Normal" characters will be included and the Primes will be sprinkled throughout, like how we've gotten Beast Wars figures post Kingdom.

Yeah, I meant year two or three, not wave. And he'll probably just be a package refresh. If anything changes it'll be the shade of red like how they brightened up Metalhawk.
