Transformers Armada Nemesis Prime Revealed at SDCC 2025

Motto: "'till All Are One"
Great news for Transformers Armada fans, Hasbro has revealed Nemesis Prime at SDCC 2025. And he comes with the Star Saber, which is made up of 3 minicons like the original. This will be a Pulsecon exclusive and sell for $75 USD. You can check out the product description and a slew of images which include renders, the prototype shown at SDCC and official stock images which should resemble the final product.

Here is the info from Gamestop: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/new-h ... 0-6533366/

One of the sought-after action figures for Transformers fans will be a new Nemesis Prime, straight from the Transformers Armada series. This $75 Voyager-class figure comes packaged with his Mini-Con partners: Runway, Jetstorm, and Sonar.

Similarly to his previous incarnations, Nemesis Prime resembles Autobot leader Optimus Prime. Hellbent on destroying all Transformers, he appeared in several episodes of the Armada series and had the ability to regenerate from even lethal amounts of damage. This new action figure of Nemesis Prime can convert between robot and truck mode in around 21 steps, and his Mini-Cons can transform into an airline, jet airliner, and space shuttle modes. When combined, the Mini-Cons can also transform into a powerful saber weapon.

For accessories, Nemesis Prime comes equipped with two blasters and a cannon that can also be combined into a powerful weapon, and he has a Matrix of Leadership accessory that can fit inside of his chest compartment.

Original Armada figure is still probably the closest match color-wise. This is way too blue, needs more gray/black tint.

Looks really cool! Love the colours and headsculpt. I'm assuming he can still transform into a combine mode since he is a direct redeco of the Optimus Prime corebot... I wonder what the super mode head looks like.

I get what they're going for, but it feels off, like they missed a few of the marks. It's hard to make out the details in the face and they really should have gone all out like they did with Amazon Bludgeon. Dark gray would have looked better instead of silver, and also leave off the red. It's like they were trying to blend the cartoon and Hasbro figure.

Maybe this will be one of hose figures that look better in hand.

As for the Star Saber team, they look pretty good. Apparently a rep said they'd like to find a way to get it out in other places (I'm guessing Dark Saber and a clear Star Saber) but the three together don't quite add up to a Deluxe for them.

Ohh snap... looks really nice, and I love the Star Saber team.

Interesting they went for cartoon colors instead of toy colors and that they gave him the saber instead of Run Over.

Well, they could throw in more Minicons in a set to bring it up to a deluxe price. It would be nice if we got an Overrun, General release Jolt and Wind Sheer (from Whisper).

Can't say I like this too much, I wish they went for an alternate damaged face one could use to recreate the battle. Also the blue, even if not too different from the original anime, feels off after years of black Nemeses. Also: why the Star Saber instead of the Dark one?

This is the Nemesis Prime I have been waiting for. Never bought any others as none have really "done it" for me, but when I saw Armada Optimus, I knew we would get a cab only Nemesis, so I waited. Can't wait to finally check out this mould and get a Nemesis. I like the colour, the head, weapons and mini-cons. Awesome looking figure.

That huge Grimlock is a surprise.

Onslaught looks like he won't follow the skeleton design we got with Superion.

I like what I see of the Combaticons, really stoked for the full Bruticus.

The Leader Razorclaw had me going for a moment, but of course we got what we got.

I really would like that Jetfire, we'll see how crazy 2ndary market prices get.

Quickstrike doesn't appear to have any more articulation than his original basic toy. Though that new peg hole is interesting; could it possibly allow us to attach the left hand he lost trying to punch out of his stasis pod? That could make him an appropriate shelfmate for the Club's undamaged Transmutate...

Nice to see Amalgamous Prime, since in theory his toy could've been damn-near anything. So while that suspense is thwarted, I was always more anxious to see Nexus and Liege Maximo, and still am.

And although Earthspark had me expecting something a bit different, Quintus Prime looks appropriately Lovecraftian. Maybe there's some sort of interchangeable head gimmick?

And certainly not dissing Grimlock, since that is awesomely in scale, but it'll be nice to have another year I can skip the Titan. AofE is still my favorite live-action TF film, but I just don't have room in my collection for Bayniverse toys anymore.

And while I guess there's merit to another use of the Junkion Jalopy mold, there's a good handful of recent motorcycle molds across the continuities that could easily be officially repainted rusty for army building, starting with Thrash and that one ROTB Arcee (minus the wolf armor).

As for Razorclaw, I should've KNOWn.

Big Convoy looks so good even if I feel like he should have been a commander, but always had a soft spot for the character so I'll be getting him.

Grimlock is impressive, but he worries me because the other 3 dinobots have gotta be coming in the Titan price point.

Never liked those Junkion molds, dislike seeing them again and really don't like seeing another Animated character wasted on one.

Amalgamous is the winner of the show for me love him completely.

If I didn't already have an OS KO of Grimlock I'd be really tempted to get this one. I really like the design of the bay Dinos. Getting a full set will be the measure of a true fan, lol. That isn't me.

Is it weird that I want to pick on Nemesis Prime's Star Saber? They went to all the trouble of giving him a new molded face and took away his trailer, but it's not his Saber. His is red! This is just the regular Star Saber. I feel like this is an accessory meant for the regular OP packed with a different figure. The Matrix is weird too. It's just the regular one with a red crystal. I feel like they could have gone for a more obscure reference or at least made it a different color. Am I being too nitpicky? I like his messed up face. We haven't got that on any other Nemesis Prime.

As a regular release it'd be tempting. Right now ... I have a lot of pricy preorders ...

Big Convoy looks like he's fixed all the original's flaws. Nothing looks like it's popping off now! But I'll wait for the Nemesis colors.

I've said it in a different thread, but I guess I can say it here too. I dunno if I'm down for a new Seeker journey. New Seekers, a new Astrotrain, a new Soundwave, and a new Shockwave? Hm. Don't get me wrong, it looks fantastic and all. But. I don't actually have a problem with the ER mold. It's not too small. It's not the wrong alt. mode. Both modes look fine. Set's already complete. And we're talking about six voyagers. I'll preorder, but really think about it.

I wonder if Earthrise is the worst of the CHUG lines in retrospect. Maybe that's still Universe 2.0. That old Classics Seeker mold lasted ages. I was primed for a new one by the time it was retired. ER was six years ago. I don't feel great about most of my ER buys.

TBH, I'm still the most excited for the Hot Wheels crossovers.

Seeing people try to flog earthrise seekers as soon as they can, kinda makes me feel better about not going to the efforts needed to own any of them. Though it's probably going to be just as hard to get the ss86 ones.

Almagamous looks good, might be fun bit despite the primes thing. Quick strike, sure shot, big convoy are on my wants. Nice to see animated wreckgar in any form, even this reuse.

I'm actually really excited at the news that they're going to do all 4 Dinobots from the movie. I WANT a titan class Scorn! However, they said that Grimlock is 15 inches tall, making him as tall as Armada Unicron. I'm honestly, kinda disappointed with the fact that they're gonna be smaller than Titans we've had in the past. Not TOO disappointed mind you, they're still gonna be huge! I'm also hoping that the transformations and articulation makes up for the smaller size. The Grimlock already looks good!

That Big Convoy too man, hell yeah! I like it! The TF One Airachnid looks awesome! TLK Barricade I'm actually pretty "meh" over. His original design still feels better to me.

Boneshaker and Quickstrike are getting bought on sight. Love 'em both.
