It's either robot kibble in alt mode or loose joints. But defects I LOATHE. If it weren't for defects, I wouldn't inspect every figure in the store before I buy it.

My peers thoughts about kibble, loose joints, and defective figures:

Yeah loose joints and scale are two small complaints I have.

Dozertron , I hear ya. I always check the figs before i buy them. I didn't pick up classics BB because too many had parts that were popped off.

Motto: "If I win again I'm still the champion. If you win HAH! that's just impossible.

Weapon: tea cup."
Millions of twisty ties twisted round a hundred times and then tucked underneath themselves. Do they pay some bitter and twisted sod to put those in? (mwah hah haa! suffer little children - you want your toy but you can't play with it yet!)
Pointless rotating joints below the knee when it should be above the knee.
Loads of kibble hanging around.
Piss poor distribution.
Lack of QC.

I complain about all this stuff but let's not get bogged down in our bitchfest - let's not forget that WE DO LOVE OUT TFs!

Packaging, for the most part. I've had to actually take some figures apart and remove them from the box, piece-by-piece. There's no need for that kind of insane packaging, even if it is mostly to prevent theft or whatever D: This is especially true with Titaniums, and is the main reason I won't by them myself (if others buy them for me as gifts, then I won't complain- that's just rude)

The lack of quality control in the movie line. I'm hoping this is something that's only the result of a line being rushed out to cash in on the movie, and that the trend won't continue in Animated and Universe.
Shockwave would think my posts are logical...

Can't say that I really have any. I just turned 30 and I got in on Transformers on the ground level and have been hooked ever since. Sure there have been figure lines and shows that I didn't like as much as others, but overall I've enjoyed it all. If I come across a figure that doesn't appeal to me I just don't buy it, but I'm sure there is some other fan out there who will love it. I don't expect to love everything, it's not like they're doing this just for me. I guess if I had to gripe about something it would be all the KO's that are coming out preventing real reissues of guys like G1 Mirage and the Dinobots.

Y'know, there's a phrase amongst the Gundam community: It's all Gundam, it's all good.
Why can't Transfans take that approach?

EDIT: Ok, I agree with Sylus, clear guns SUCK

Yeah but TFs have many more levels than Gundam. Gundam is always a series of one piloted robot or a group of piloted robots who are basicly similar with updated designs in ongoing series.

Hence the stories about the pilot of the robot, and pilots change.

Transformers on the other hand is about living robots, it's a harder tail to tell since every series starts over agian. With the continuing unnessicary deterioration of the source matterial, it hard to say that it's all transformers so like it since it isn't progressing in a constantly improving fashion.

For a while it was, with figures getting more and more detailed and complex, but with the movie as a seeming pinical, the creators have seemed to want to turn from an elaborate serious mech design to some type of childish play.

So even though it sayes it on the package and switching forms is something the figure can do, it's not all Transformers!

As to Getter, a step backwards is sometimes worth complaining about.

I agree and I disagree.

I think that everyone should be able to say what they think and if they don’t like something that’s a-okay with me.

My problem is with people who complain too much or just start nitpicking. You know, like people who hate Classics Prime just because he doesn’t have the Autobot emblem on his shoulder, little things like that.

I agree with the accursed twist ties. That's my only gripe. Years of being a hardcore Gundam fan taught me to be happy with any release we got. I don't mind the fact that Armada had virtually no articulation (at least, the one's I had/have) because it's actually quite similiar to G1. I don't even mind the obsession with banana chins going on in Animated because it's quite a different and refreshing approach to Transformers.

Exclusive figures costing too much. I wouldn't mind if an exclusive figure was priced at double, maybe even triple, but five times or more is just too much.

Mods on TF boards who classify someones Opinion/topic/contribution negitavely as a complaint.

My biggest gripe currently is the lack of new stuff. It's forced me to spend my cash on more expensive stuff I put off like MP megs. I've probably spent a grand since Xmas

Nice. Well said. It's suppose to be a discussion.

It would be nice if all the toys had rubber wheels and die cast metal.

Yeah those thing bug me too, sometimes they are hard to get off. They are twisted by machines and they expect a human, a kid even, to be able to get them off. Thank Primus for the wire cutters built into the pliers that are built into my multi-tool. My multi-tool has become the most used tool I have, use it for everything from tightening/removing screws to cutting open card bubbles to removing twist ties, all hail the multi-tool the savior of TFs.

My biggest gripes are twisty-ties, scale, kibble, and terrible articulation. Also, it would be nice if they put rubber wheels on more figures, but it's not really a big complaint of mine.

I think rubber wheels preserve the wheels. Plastic wheels dig into the surface and scratch.

Rubber wheels also crack and go bad like in the RID Optimus and Ultra magnus.

Yeah twist ties are horrible. also those lil clear rubber bands.
Its like "Yeah i finally freed Bumblebee from his cardboard and plastic prison i will now trans.......What the." Rubber band booby traps FTL
