And why aren't they making a Rattler or Terrordrome?
I want those remade.
At a garage sale I sold my Thunder Clap for dirt cheap.
Now I wish I hadn't

I think the HISS was black. And I'm guessing the Terrordrome won't be remade cause it'd be very big and expensive(I didn't have it though).
I DID and do still have the Thunderclap, now that was a great vehicle when I was a kid. I used the middle part as a shuttle. The Cobra Hammerhead was also one of my favorite vehicles, I loved that thing! Ah, those were the days....

Caelus wrote:I loved the GIJoe VAMP when I was a kid. When I got mine, it was dirty, the gun and accessories were already missing, and the rollbar was busted. I fixed the rollbar and played with it anyway. ALL THE TIME. Then I accidentally lit it on fire, torching most of the passenger's side. But it still rolled, so I kept playing with it. Then it broke in half, so I screwed it back together with a 2x.25" piece of wood and kep playing with it.
So, yeah, if they rereleased that at a decent price, I'd definately buy one, possibly more, for my Clone Troopers.

If you were using the other thread, you might know this...

Yes, I know you guys were talking about blue versus black here... I think at this point blue is okay, because the driver isn't the real driver anyway, just a repaint...Crankcase looks to have a new head mold--other's body parts, but the rest are all just repaints.
However, I am still waiting on a re-issue of the FLAGG, and the Defiant Space Shuttle and COmplex. Wouldn't mind some more Night Attack figs/vehicles either...

i had a huge Joe stealth fighter back then, with a pilot named Ghost Rider. it looked like a tear-drop shaped ship with cruise missiles underneath (with rotating wings) and at its sides it had pop-out gun systems. the thruster array at the back also pops out, plus it had real retractable landing gear. too bad i really DID not appreciate this toy back then as it was huge and heavy and i was scrawny as a kid, now i wish i took better care of this, now i think it's broken, somewhere if i can still find it.
any ideas on the name of this toy, as well as pics? i think this was released 1989-1990. thanks!

I still have my Ghostrider figure... somewhere!
And you're thinking of the Phantom X-19 Stealth Fighter. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

*sniff* 1337W422102, a huge THANKS for helping out an old grognard with the memories. seeing those pics again made my heart all warm and mushy, and it's a very bittersweet feeling to know that i ONCE had this in my hands all those years ago, only i did not take good care of it.
now i know why my Phantom did not look so good back then...i did not apply all the decals! argh!
this toy is a marvel of engineering...pull-out thrusters, working landing gear, plus air brakes! who puts air brakes in their toys back then? i also did not know there were 2 variants of the body. i had the straight pull variant, but the sliding variant i had no idea about.
sigh...plus the Ghost Rider was the only one ever produced. how idiotic of me to lose it in the first place?!?! (actually, i did not take care of him properly because he was "boring" as he had no guns LOL)
i wonder how much does this baby cost nowadays...

On a side note, does any one know how much the Defiant Space Shuttle and the USS Flag goes for now?
