1) At 1/4 inch taller, not every Joe or Cobra vehicle will work.
2) A number of classic molds have been lost, or were lent to Funskool and destroyed, or altered for various reasons.
3) We will NEVER see a reissue Terrordrome, Defiant or Flagg ever.

What if a Knock-off company does them like they are doing with the Transformers

I wouldn't buy it. If they were official releases
I could really see myself getting sucked into
buying a Terrordrome of Defiant. Anything less would be
just some other big playset. I could never truly accept
it as an official Joe or Cobra base.
I would love to see new bases though. Like a Cobra snow mountain base or something of the like.

No, it's not.

The Joe hovercraft was cool, I remember getting two as gifts. Destro's Dominator would be awesomel, seeing as I broke my cousin's a few years back and I owe him. There's a plethora of vehicles that deserve another day in the sun. And for even more nostalgia, Hasbro is having another mail away figure promotion that involves sending in certificates and shipping and handling. Can't remember what fig it is, but I'm glad the concept is back.

The figure is Doc, who for some reason is missing his stretcher...![]()
Oh, and he's only available in the States, it seems.

Wha? Who? I never heard of this. When was this announced? I'm surprised that they're doing mail away. With the internet I thought that would be silly. People would just buy the figure off Ebay

Actually he is not missing the stretcher. In the newest Joe club mag, they show him--the send away version--, and he clearly has his stretcher, and that grenade launching gun thing that he originally had 'back in the day'.

Hmm, I guess I saw a bad picture, then. Sorry!
And wasn't that grenade launcher a flaregun or something?
