I think it could be fun to add the Trek ones too.

As for IDing the alts in use:

Most of the time it's rather obvious or you just have to do some mild detective work in the Custom Alt thread (and risk getting cancer from photobucket)
Though I'l admit that Starcraft fighter one had me stumped. I spent a good long while trying to figure that one out (Cheers XP for doing it for me)

I think that's one of those "suspension of disbelief" choices because it kinda looks like an X-Wing with the s-foils closed.

Ill try and update the list from the googledoc tonight with all these great suggestions, and post them here so we can see how many there are of each.

Some of them won't be Star Wars ones, but hopefully they will look close enough that people can still accept them.

Question, does anyone even work on the site anymore? The lay out hasn't seemed to change since before the last apocalypse. I'm pretty sure it's older than the war in Iraq.

Back when Ryan popped his head in to shut down the alt loophole a couple months ago there were promises of improvements "coming soon"... I'm not holding my breath.

The adds are why I hate coming here on my phone. Them and the formating for it is beyond terrible.

There was talk of a mobile version, but I can't comment about the ads.

For those watching for them, the TIE Fighter is up on the cons alt list currently.
