I wouldn't go that far, there are a few discrepancies in all the stories/mediums, conflicting with each other. I think you will find this continuity pretty confusing if you decide that everything you read is considered *fact*. Unless you pick and choose what parts of the stories from different mediums were actualy *true*

This reminds me of the dinobot issue, where did they come from, which story to believe? i guess since they were both talked about in episodes, they are both facts and both really happend.

The end, bye bye.

Nice way to take what I said out of context Burn.

The whole point of that statement is that we are discussing niether the comics nor the book but the movie itself.

Auto repair was discused in the movie. You do remember the scean aboard the plane where the segment of Skorpinoks tale repaired itself and one of the techs explained that it ment the TF's had the ability to repair themseves don't you?

As for the Ratchet's laser; You took it as him teasing BB? :???: :???: :???:
I would think that both the fact that it caused BB pain (evidenced bot by his expresion and an urgk sound from BB) and that Ratchet checked what apeared to be a readout out on his arm afterwords would certainly make it clear that the laser served some kind of serious function.

O and by the way BB's mouth plate had never moved before when he used the radio to comunicate so why now?

Once again people are putting way to much thought into this movie, it is not meant nor was it ever meant to be overanalyzed as it has. The movie seriously loses its fun the more you try to pick apart every little nuance.

In total agreement. Like I have said sooo many times, it is what is and just enjoy it. All of it is fiction NOT reality, so anything goes.

Briggs wrote:You can hold on to your "if it wasn't in the movie blah blah" argument as much as you want, but it's Orci's story, if he said thats what it did, even if it originally was not how it was *suppose* to work in the story, then that's how it happened. I suggest you accept it, and not get to caught up in the fantasy of what *really* happened.

P.s. listen to bumblebee after he fires that laser at him

:APPLAUSE:

These two quotes just basically summed up how I feel. Now I'm done with this discussion. I've wasted enough time going back and forth about a fictional character and it's voice or how things that have supposedly or possibly happened in a universe that truly doesn't exist. People need to realize that it is what it is and stop over analyzing everything about the movie and why this and that happened. Either enjoy it or don't enjoy it for what it is.

True. But the fact Orci had to come out and explain things meant that it didn't happen in any medium.

Actually i'm discussing all.

Auto repair was discused in the movie. You do remember the scean aboard the plane where the segment of Skorpinoks tale repaired itself and one of the techs explained that it ment the TF's had the ability to repair themseves don't you?

Do now. Just needed a little reminder of it.

Still doesn't make BB's thing any clearer though because ...

As for the Ratchet's laser; You took it as him teasing BB?

I seem to recall undergoing tests that weren't particulary comfortable myself. Perhaps Ratchet was merely checking to see if anything had changed since they last saw BB.

As for teasing him, well that would be an Australian thing. We're liable to see a friend coughing and wiping their nose, slap 'em on the back and go "Got a bit of a cold mate!"

So yes, it's all very open to interpretation and just because the writer comes along and says that's how it was suppose to be doesn't automatically make it fact.

Especially considering it was only said on a forum for a few hundred people to learn about. Nevermind the tens of thousands world wide who probably walked out of the theatre wondering what happened exactly. ;;)

So basically because someone has an opinion different to yours and you don't feel like discussing it you're going to run away?

I mean that's just defeating the purpose of the whole "discussion board" thing really if you come in, make a statement and then bugger off simply because someone has a differing opinion.

I know i've had my fair share of disagreements with the "haters" but geez, this is a discussion forum. For discussing things. It's not going to be all happy happy joy joy now get back here and discuss this with me dammit! :P

Meh I figured it was Ratchet's doing when I saw it; probably just my attention to detail.

Also considering the often sevear differences between between screen, comic, and literature in TF media are you sure it is such a wise thing to do to try to take all three together?

So yes, it's all very open to interpretation and just because the writer comes along and says that's how it was suppose to be doesn't automatically make it fact.

I brought this portion down because it is one of the major problems with conflicts between fans.
Weather you like it or not what the writer of the story says is fact is fact. Why? Because he decides what is fact in his story not you. (Unless you have cases such as this where the story is owned by someone else, but since Hasbro has remained quite on the issiue it's a moot point)[/quote]

LOL! Nah Burn it's not even like that. TRUST ME, I'm the LAST person to run away from a discussion. I just feel both sides have stated their opinion and that is that. I feel the way I feel and you feel the way you feel. It's no point in arguing and stating the same thing over and over in different ways. It's a waste of time and energy....

Fighting over this is ridiculous given that the story writers know jack**** about what they are talking about anyway.

Sorry about that. But I really like Bumblebee, I really do. Its just some crack that started in an LJ community and I was listening to some silly music which inspired me to make that pic. IMO he's missing a blouse and I can't come up with an idea for Barricade.

ehh, not that important actually.
frenzy got his head sawed off and that was all he needed to make it around.
go fig.as far as bb getting his voice back, i like burns idea better than it just magically started working with ratchet's help by the end of the movie.
still, why wouldn't they use the allspark to fix bb after he got his legs blown off. sam was right there with the spark. shouldn't it just have repaired him when he was close like it did to frenzy?
anyhoo.

Maybe frenzy's spark was in his head. Its the only part of him large enough to hold one in my opinion.

Perhaps the allsparks regenerative abitilies is relative to it's size.
