This'll sound possibly stupid, or at least very newbie, but does anyone know how to change the description of the alt-modes?

I would say yes, however...

Ryan by now has had to have received PMs and seen thread after thread of these issues (I've seen him post in some for what that is worth) and has yet to get to these issues. Either:

1) he's working on things in the order he wants and HMW is lower on the list than we would like.

2) the site is on the constant verge of falling apart. Ryan's constant vigilance is the only thing keeping us up and running.

If the site in general is on the constant virge of falling apart, maybe it's time for a revamp to the site?

But hopefully Ryan will get around to it sometime soon, or at least let us know why it's taking as long as it is.

Jeru, if you mean changing the name of your alt mode, I don't ever remember us having that ability.

If you mean change what alt-mode you are using, then you need to reset your character.

No. There's two lines in the alt mode section of the TF character's profile. One is the alt mode name; the other is the description of the alt mode. I'm talking about changing the description of the alt mode, not the alt mode itself.

That only changes when you change alt modes. You've never been able to change it yourself.

Unless you're talking about your characters name.

The first line is set for the class of alt mode. The second line is set to what the specific icon is listed as.

Yes. I once found a way to change what the second line said without affecting the class of alt mode, but I forogt how I did it. That's what I'm asking you guys about.

The only way that line can change within the current confines of the games programming is to reset your character and select a different alt within the same class.

Regardless if it was something possible in a former build of the game, it is not something we have any personal control over in the current game without resetting and reselecting.

Sorry, but that just the way things currently are.

Gotcha. Resetting at present's not a problem for me, nor reselecting. A bit annoying, perhaps, but doable. Thanks, fellas.

Oh Christ no! It's bad enough when he's time to 'plan' it in advance, lets not encourage him to do it willy nilly...

I'm guessing that is a good thing...that Mkall is back, not the Decepticon party. Altho I guess the 'Con party could be good to depending on your point of view
