i dont know here... i think device label has a nicer cat mode albiet missing the thrusters. just want others opinions.... love em both... now MP Ravage has a slight advantage that he can go inside Soundwave... but im just talking how the robot modes look.

Robot mode, hands down winner is Device Label Ravage.

MP Ravage may have the thrusters, but even then, they're rather tiny and almost insignificant when you compare him side by side to DL Ravage.

maybe ill put rave in tape mode in soundwave and put DL ravage with the bunch

I don't know...they are both flawed in terms of cartoon accuracy...

For some reason, designers want to give Ravage a wide jaguar-looking face even though in the cartoon he had a skinny snout like a Doberman Pinscher.

The front-end of MP Ravage looks good, better than USB Ravage IMO, but the back ends looks off....I think the missiles should have been removable so they could have molded them more cartoon or toy accurately.

I love my Device Label Ravage, although he is a KO!

He scales up really well with the current Deluxe/Voyager class figures which is great.
He can look up, he can look down and even open his mouth!
Heck, he can even cock his leg up and take a well needed oil leak!!

I don't think DL Ravage looks very good. I have him (he was a gift) but I think MP looks better in every way, although my MP Ravage is still in the post.

well i tend to disagree, i think the MP Ravage looks like a frail anorexia kitty, with a head that doesnt look quite like a head. but thats why i started this topic, to hear everyones different opinion.

Agreed, I got my KO DL a while back and have been Very happy with him.
Plus the fact that the actual function, as a thumb drive, had more storage on the KO than the actual DL, sealed the deal for me; the one I have has 16 Gs of memory.

I have the KO as well. I couldnt find a genuine one at the time, and the KO was only £5 for the 16g.
The plastic is alright, but his jaw flops about.
I'll buy the real one when I come across him to go with my DL Soundwave.

I really, really like teh DL Ravage mold: in fact, I have all three official Takara versions (Ravage, Tigatron and Cheetor).
Although I don't own the KO version, I have seen pictures of it which look a lot worse than the official version, so I'd recommend anyone to NOT answer this question based on the KO version. Takara DL Ravage has perfect proportions in robot mode, looks powerful and scales well to MP Soundwave, AND has an opening jaw (which still holds up perfectly on my version).

I like what MP Ravage can do for his size: but I still get the feeling he was just overly ambitious, compared to the other two MP tape molds, which are just plain awesome. He really just ended up too small and slightly awkward looking, with his weird rear quarters + missiles, stumpy tail, panels on the insides of his front legs and the fact he's just so thin. His head worked out perfectly, though, I have to admit. I love him, and as a stand alone figure I'd give him a 8.5/10. However, I give DL Ravage a 9.5/10, so there's the difference...

Recommend all you like sir but KO DL Ravage is still awesome in my book, he has greater flash memory storage, scales well AND can cock his leg up!!

Yes, but the KO (mine is actually the KO, as my friend didn't know about such things) has a floppy jaw straight from the box. It's not just lose, it hands and flaps around.

Sorry, I miss him, too!

MP Ravage is the only Ravage toy I have (the ROTF deluxe doesn't count, does it?), and he's pretty good, personally speaking. I don't have any other version of his G1 incarnation to make comparisons, but in and of itself, I think MP isn't half bad.

Just my two cents' worth.
