Can't I just keep searching through my mission logs on the off chance that I was actualy lucky enough get in a mission with one of the targets

Well yeah you could do that, wouldn't be too hard either seeing as the logs only go back a few days.

Not to mention I just found one that I missed the first time looked at the mission
