I think a lot of people here seem to forget that discussion, which is what forums are for, is about exchanging opinions.

Unfortunately, it seems that if your opinion differs from the popular one, you're expected to go along with it or be accused of forcing your opinion on others.

I couldn't disagree with your opinion on Animated more, but I always enjoy reading it.

Beast Wars was apparently met with great hatred.

Very few people from those days are around now, and even then some of them are so full of themselves and reak of "elitism" because "they were there fighting the good fight for/against BW" and "never stopped collecting TF's" while the rest of us were either too young, weren't into transformers, or hadn't gotten back into TF's yet.

And yes, I say that from experience from having encountered a few of them.

To honest looking back at beast wars now it was like looking into the internal plumbing of a show and finding some jems and a whole lot of crap. But that is really not the point of this topic as far episode 12 goes I really can't wait to find out what the future holds for this show.

I really liked the episodes. And I for one enjoy the G1 nods. The creators went for quite an obscure reference now. Its not like many people who saw G1 knew about the Pretenders. Although, don't know why, but when I saw the Bat mutant I immediately thought of BM Nightscream.

Still they are pretty surely a mix of different pretenders. Again I say one of the more obscure references they could have picked.
For those who are getting tired of the G1 nods c'mon, its what makes the show appeal to us older fans. I'm sure if they had no nods then you'd be complaining like why don't they reference G1 or why isn't this more like it was etc... The nods are pure Fan service, they don't need to include them, but they do, and it makes the show that much more interesting to watch trying to find th nods in it.

I don't know why everybody hates Meltdown. he's one of the more menacing human villains. People need to stop taking the cartoon so seriously.

no the episode was not about the Dinobots, it was basically about Meltdown, and his plan . He just happened to have found the island, and made his base there, and bullied the dinobots to help them.

I like that they are holding back on showing everything at once, these little episodes without the Decepticons, make the ones with them that much more exciting and anticipated.

Overall I enjoyed the episode. Bumblebee doesn't talk Yay!.

And as for Sari its been established the Key chose her, which is why prime can't really take it away from her. The Allpark chose Sari as the guardian for a reason. We might not know that reason yet, but I'm sure there is one.

As for the break in plot to this seemingly unrelated story, well, Lugnut and Blitzwing where in pieces, remember i would guess it takes a while for them to get back to together.

Overall, I liked the episode liked the nods. Pretty cool. But not as good as Lost and Found, but then again I've always been a fan of Blitzwing, and this one just cracks me up sometimes.

For me it being Transformers and having Optimus is enough of a G1 nod, but I see your point and there probably would be people whining about the lack of G1 reference. I just feel though if I wanted to see G1 I would actually watch G1 instead of Animated.

Agreed wholeheartedly on both counts! All the human villians in this show severely lack anything worth enjoying! They are not menacing in any way, even on a kiddie-level...They are not entertaining at all....They add very little to the show, as a matter of fact, they detract from it!

All in all, they are useless, IMHO!

Have yet to see an ep of Animated so boring! Sure, we got to see the Dinobots transform, but other than that there was nothing to it. Human villians annoy and bore me to tears, especially Meltdown..he's such a royal douchebag!

I'm with you on that one Pyrostrata. If Meltdown is the best of the worst in Animated human villianry, I would rather not have any at all.

Seriously, Gen 1 had Doctor Arkeville, IDW has Dante/Scorponok, but Animated doesn't have anything as far as I'm concerned. What's the key factor? Both the Dr. and Dante are greedy humans being used as pawns by the 'cons. That's how it should be, IMHO.

We got to see some Dinobots, and that was cool, but they were just "guard dogs" and the episode ends with them being told to "stay." I wanted substance, I got fluff.
