Devastator looks fantastic to me. He's got the "raging brute" thing down perfectly! I wonder if the Constructicons themselves will still be effective engineering geniuses.

You know I gots ta' say, those two.. or seven look awesome. Like Muff said, if The Fallen was the one of the first, presumably from before a time before Megs and Prime then his look suits him rather well. Who knows, maybe he was online at some point and scanned some Egyptian Hieroglyphics to give him a bit of a Pharaoh look.

Devastator... un-holy mudda phack, he's a big baby. Just looking at the head made me think something crazy. The head kinda looks like Megs and it even (to me at least) looks like Tank Megs tank treads are wrapped around his neck. I wonder if it's The Fallen that forces them all to merge in a sort of last ditch effort and forces Megs into it. I know, it's some far fetched BS but it would be kinda cool.

Now lets start seeing some other renders, like the individual Constructicons.

there's a new guy in the running for the title of "Prince of Darkness". :shock:

This character is awsomeness, evil and bad-ass all rolled into one!

I doubt a dude with one big tire above his head and one big tire firmly on the ground so he can roll around would be a very good engineer, architect, chemist, or Ferris Wheel.

This may be dumb, but am I the only person who sees the possibility of the large opening for devastator his eye and not his mouth? Like a cyclops almost but with little beads for eyebrows/nightlights? This would mean he's looking down and not at the camera.

Just a passing thought and I am pretty sure I am wrong but hey lol... it would be cool if he was a cyclops :-P

To sum up my thoughts:

They're not the same TF's we've grown to love and recognize, but they're a new universe/continuity. It's like the differences between G1 and BW; they may share some similar traits (and voice actors) but they're in a different storyline. I've learned to accept the movieverse as that. It's not G1, it will never be G1 or like any other continuity, but it has potential and I'm going to follow it through to the end. I may like some or all of it, I may hate parts of it, but I'm going to tag along for the ride and see where Bay goes with this.

As for characters within this movieverse go, they look pretty badarse and I'm just hoping that there's enough good characterization to back up the designs.

Davastator looks, em interesting his head is a bit weird but I can't wait to see more of him so we can see just how massive that thing is damn he's impressive!

I'm actually thinking someone watched too much Lost in Space before designing these. Y'know, the one with Joey from Friends.

The Fallen is mutated Dr Smith and Devafaker's head is the crazy time-portal thing.

Still, they're not too bad. The Fallen looks above average for a movie-verse design. I mean he's got a head, legs and arms fer goodness sakes!

Devestator, I think will look better as vehicles.

I am really digging The Fallen. I already fell in love with the toy! As far as Devastator Hmm... that head is not appealing to me. As said earlier I would like to see a solid stance pic to make my final judgement, but the rest of Devastator looks fantastic!

Edit: OK after some time to let the first reaction settle down. I am starting to find Devastators face better looking every time I look at it, but that neck??? Does his neck actually bend or is he stuck looking forward?

I think it is a safe bet that he meant to say WELL OVER...
Given the size comparison with just one part of him in the teaser when Prime jumps on it, if you think about putting 7 machines of that magnitude together, it's mind blowing. Prime is a decent height in robot mode and just one constructicon dwarfed him. I'd say Dev's height would be closer to the 150-200 ft. range. But that's just one persons guess and I'm sure someone with no sense of humor is going to correct me anytime now with a completely dry explanantion of how and why my guesstimate is so far off.

That mysterious "splash" is SOOO going to screw with the surfers...

But this does bring up a good point. If the Autobots do somehow manage to knock this thing on it's collective butt, how much collateral damage is going to be caused by this? The battle they have with this thing will likely wipe out the whole of whatever city they are in. Death and destruction on a monumental, if not biblical,
scale. People are going to have to change their pants after seeing this film in IMAX! This movie is going to ROCK!!

So, that Voyager-class excavator toy we saw a few weeks ago is this guy's torso? Maybe the head as well?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but that Voyager was all spindly arms and wheels, no body to speak of and not much in the way of bulk. But it's a torso?!!

Seems to me like those rumours we heard a while back about two sets of Constructicon toys (one set that transform from vehicle to robots; another set that are just vehicles that merge into Devastator) may well be true.

This pic also confirms that the Constructicon character will indeed be named Devastator.

Given that there is additional footage from the first movie still to be released on Blu-Ray & DVD (the IMAX stuff, for example), I assume the first movie will be re-released in the summer as a tie-in, perhaps with additional footage, the 'Devastator' caption corrected as 'Brawl', perhaps an ROTF trailer too.

I remember the first 3 Indiana Jones films were re-released on DVD when 'Crystal Skull' came out at the cinema, so there's certainly a precedent.

I'm digging the Fallen. I'm guessing the toy we saw was an unpainted prototype, seeing as how it was green and all.

Devastator, I dunno, my jury's still out. He'll probably look better to me once I see him in context with scenery and/or other bots. He definitely looks badass, but did they have to make him fugly too?

Is this suppose to be Bionicle or Transformers? This is getting retarded. They both look cool but those are NOT Transformers. This is straying way to far from what Transformers should look like. And why does Devastator have green eyes? Is he not a Decepticon or are they just canning the idea of the cons having red eyes and the bots having blue? I still say this is going to suck more than the last one.
