you are right about i can't find anything to back up the deffinition of the word, dispite what i've been told for 20 years.

on such grounds i do appologize. despite what i've been taught my whole life i can't back what i said. i was wrong under these pretenses. i hope you can see where iwhy i had such passionate feelings. nothing personal i have strong feelings on those issues.

sorry again, but i've always been under the pretense its a racist term. my bad about the personal shots. i should just stop reading the posts...

They lied. Wanker is a person who wanks. To wank is to masterbate.

Trust me. There are more Brittish, Irish, and Assuie people in this game then any other place I've been online. Don't let your own problems cloud your judgements. I sling way worse insults then wanker with my friends. I come from a area where calling someone a fugging retard is tossed around like beads at martigras.

The word has developed a metaphorical usage, in which to wank or to be a wanker implies egotistical and self-indulgent behaviour. This is the dominant meaning in Australia. Which is where Burn is from.

on a side note; newbs, don't bring up "I'm higher than you on the ranking" it just cuases offense; for most of that situation was brought about by shear luck, with the exception of Burn, whose there becuase he CHOSE to be. so shall we let this issue lie in the same place as dark tidings?
