my point is why get rid of stocks of a decent weapon when you can rid of crap weapons if we need to get rid of some weapons (which i think was P240z point)so everyone has battle blades, then get rid of every 0stat weapon except the x-ray laser, every pure skill weapon, the UWSTAC(dear god, the UWSTAC), anything with less than a moderate to heavy damage range

i totally agree with Y2si, the weapon shouldn't make a bot, but this incredible hard to do with blades being available from level one(Blame alpha strike, again).


my view on weapons basically - get rid of quantities, it's a useless atavism, that's cuasing more trouble than it's worth. in V2 i'd like the available weapons to based on location; cons hold position X, they can Weapons A or B(which takes time), they lose position X they can't make weapons A or B. and if you reset a bot it loses it's weapon

and the energon crossbow does destroy all except for the blades, which it can go toe-toe in with a similiar setup, (i just don't get why this weapon is not sold out)



it just seems to me we are punishing newer gamers IMO, but then again, glyph is a busy man, so if he wants to send me the data table for weapons Ill edit them ALL by hand to his specifications.

I was just given this suggestion; make the weapons page faction specific (why would both factions use the same shop anyway?) and let us generate some new weapons out of the gravity-disrupting mountain of raw materials we have sitting around from the armour missions we keep winning?

Ties both resources in together and will limit how quickly weapons can be restocked.

Just a suggestion anyway. We now return you to your original discussion...

i like, but the feeling i get from glyph's preivious statments is that will lead to excess generation of weapons which strains the server or something, wich is why he want's degrading weapons

what it sounds like is he wants a legit way to take weapons from inactive players to ease server stress... and i agree... kinda >_>

IIRC, No.

weapons will only degrade through use, so being inactive will actually prolong weapon life, or something as an oldie my memories going and some such nonesense....
