Everything has been pretty good. I can't complain about much. I do find myself getting fickle with my job. I really want to start a store dedicated to this hobby. Maybe more of a hybrid between BBTS, Toynk, and TFSource. I would say strictly TF's, but there is a large market for Marvel, DC, McFarlane sports, etc. I think it would just be easier doing something I love to do rather than what I "have" to do.

As for sightings, I've pretty much seen the now usual suspects of cyberverse and deluxe. I have seen voyagers Starscream and Bulkhead quite often. IF not for my case order from BBTS I'd be without RID Vehicon.

Movies: Avengers is so far the most awesome superhero movie I've seen. Dark Knight to me is in a different category so I won't compare the two. MIB3 was also decent to me. Could have been a few more aliens, but still a solid outing for the franchise.

Target by Woodfield Mall had one TFP Hotshot, so apparently at least one Vehicon WAS there at some point.

Walmart in Glen Ellyn was a TF wasteland this morning, there were more tumbleweed than toys. Gah.

Is ToyCon the thing down in Bridgeport? If so ... I haven't been to that in about 8 to 10 years. Keep meaning to go check it out one of these times. Glad to hear you had some fun at it being a dealer. I love buying and selling Transformers.

As for your recent acquisitions, congrats! They're two recent wants of mine. Kind of bummed that I missed a really good opportunity to buy a Fire Guts for $180 at BotCon. Just waiting for the right price on a Nucleon Quest Convoy. Prefer sealed on both, but would be just as happy with stickers unapplied. Just need to find them at the right price. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for them?

Fireguts and Soundblaster were a package deal for $330 I worked out at Dairycon, I about pooped myself when I saw some guy had Fireguts for $180 at Botcon. Been ages since I found one under $330 alone for Fireguts. DahPadre was over here the day before Dairycon(I picked up a ton of TF stuff buying a collection) and I remarked I wanted a Fireguts and the next day I ended up with one lol

Nucleon Quest was $200 from a board member a while ago now. I think I did okay on them.

Both are getting hard to find, at least examples to buy already in the states at least.

Not much new up here either, but mostly because I've had everything that is "new" at retail for a month or so now. I see the latest Prime, Bot Shots, and Cyberverse figures showing up at various stores around here, along with other new summer movie products, that seems to be the driving force for when new Transformers products are put out.

Still working on Fire Guts and Thunderwing. Got a Nucleon Quest not long ago so I think I'll pass on that one. Thanks again for the heads up ... I'll keep you posted. Waiting on pics of Fire Guts to make sure that the stickers are up-to-par for me.

Target in Lombard, Yorktown mall-thing, had some of the new Bot Shots this morning- no chase Megatron or Jetfire, but yes Topspin, Lockdown, and Thundercracker, yay!

They also seemed to be putting Clearance prices on the MIB3 toys, yikes. I'm waiting for the Ultra Optimus w/ trailer to go below $20.

Hit up a garage sale in Park Ridge today and scored an almost complete Scorponok and a box of parts and other G1 stuff. It's a job lot that I'll list on eBay over the next few months after I've cleaned up the parts and restored these figures as best I can.

It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Any chance you'd let some of that stuff go before you clean/repair it? I see a couple Targetmasters I might like if the price is right. I'm sure others would be interested in helping you lighten that load. Thanks!

EDIT- Of course, do take the time to sort out exactly what you have there, that's a ton of little parts.

I'd like to get around $60 a piece for the Targetmasters once I clean them up. If you're really interested in them, maybe we can work something out.

Check out what I figured out today that you can do with CLR cleaner to restore metal screws and pins on your Transformers!

Its kind of insane how one person can be so consistently lucky beyond belief. That's awesome. All I ever find at yardsales are shawls and 90s X-Men figures.

U get the official "I hate you" award for the day.

Nice haul for a find at a yard sale. Was this an "in the know" thing or a completely random stop?

It was just a regular garage sale, couple in their 60s, lady selling her son-in-law's Transformers collection along with other typical things that you would find at a garage sale. I've been to about a dozen garage sales over the past 2 years, thanks to Craigslist, and most of the time it's turned up as junk or someone beat me to it. Just happened to be at the right place at the right time. My perseverance paid off finally.

U still suck Ryan  Man that was a nice haul.

I will admit I have been perusing a lot more garage sales as of late.

If I see a sign and I have time, I take a poke now just to see what a guy might find.

Sighting wise, I can get u as many Bumblebee's or Cliffjumper's as u want, other than that zilch, zero, nada around here.

Might check out Merrillville some point this week coming up.

Oh yeah, I started stickerizing Fire Guts Ginrai, it's so ugly but awesomely beautiful all the same time.

The evolution of Seibertron.com could be just around the corner. Help Seibertron.com get 250 votes for a chance for us to win a $250k small business grant fom Chase and Living Social. Help us make our dreams come true so that we can bring you more Transformers goodness and a new store which specializes in vintage action figures!

https://www.missionsmallbusiness.com/pledge/4585655-Siebertron#.T-wGA6Ppeju.email

This could affect you guys! I really want to expand Seibertron.com's business model to have a brick-and-mortar store accompanied by an online store based out of the Chicagoland area. While the store would have new products, I am more interested in going after the vintage market. I love Quake's and Toynk but neither provide exactly what I'm looking for in a shop that specializes in action figures that we like.

Help Seibertron.com out ... this could change our toy buying experience here in the Chicagoland area.

KMart in Des Plaines had the new Bot Shots 3-packs, thely one of the Jetfire/Powerglide/Skyquake set, which I bought, and 2 of the Ironhide/Shockwave/blue Brawl sets, I bought one. Best part: $10!

Also, non-TF but so fun, the Cars Space Mater set, with Mater in a space suit and Roger the Space Shuttle. *squee!*

EDIT- Ryan, I just voted for you on that small business thing. Good luck, I'd love to see a real store of yours out here in the burbs.

Soooo I know I haven't posted in a really long time. But thought I'd share thought I found RID voyager Starscream and Bulkhead at the K-mart up on E.State in Rockford. I snagged Bulkhead cause I wanted him for MY Wreckers. But Starscream is still there, surprisingly...since I have a love for jet formers and 95% of my Decepticons are all air borne >.>.
