I have something to report to my fellow Rockford Seibertronians, I walked into TRU today and low and behold Ultimate Optimus Prime was sitting on the bottom of the shelves, two or three infact. I looked him over and....ehhhhhh...I want him. But at the moment he just seems to much to handle..and that 80 dollar price tag...YIKES!

But then my eyes wandered up and to the left, and I couldn't believe my eyes. Wheeljack, Thundercracker AND Warpath on the end cap!

I snagged one of each for myself, and then hid the others on the pegs. There's still one of each, just look behind ROTF Black Ravage and you shall be rewarded, thankfully the ROTF packaging and Generations packaging is almost similiar. So passer bys will hopefully just glance instead of digging. But they are there, and I behoove either of my fellow Rockfordians to head out there IF you need them still.

My Generations collection is now complete!

Well with the exception of Thunderwing, who I sold..because..meh he was just mediocre and I don't remember the character that well. Had he been Jhiaxus, like he possibly should have been I would have held onto him a tad longer.

Nergasm! GOing to TRU tomorrow! hopefully it will still be there.

Glad to see July coming to an end...between losing my job and my wife losing the baby, this has been the worst month ever. AUgust HAS to be better...

both crystal lake and algonquin targets have the ultimate primes algonquin target ahs the rescue bots also

Rosemont Target had a couple of the Ultimate Optimus Primes today as well as the Cyberverse Ark set. Also picked up a set of the new Scout class sized Star Wars Transformers for $7.99 each at this store. Lots of other new non-TF toys at this store as well. New DC toys, new Star Wars toys, new GiJoe toys, GiJoe Skystriker, etc.

Arlington Heights Rand Rd Target had two Wheeljacks and a Thundercracker yesterday afternoon. Sorry I forgot to report it last night.

Still doing cleanup from my disaster last week. No figures were lost in the sense that I had to toss figures out but there are about a couple dozen toys (Leader Class toys, ROTF Devastator, Ultimate Bumblebee, Stealth Force Optimus Prime, pre-TF Astro Magnum, various electronic parts such as Armada Jetfire's weapon, etc) that suffered damage from the batteries getting wet and leaking acid or whatever they do. Rusty metal (screws, pins, etc) on a lot more figures. Salvageable and gallery worth still, but sucks ass nonetheless. Moved the majority of my collection into a storage unit couple of days ago so the only things at my house now are current toys needed to assist me with galleries that I'm currently working on for Seibertron.com. Feels really weird.

TRU Golf Mill had one each of the Shockwave and Ratchet Cyberverse action sets. I bought Ratchet, it's a lot of fun. They may have had more, I just grabbed that one as I went by, literally without stopping (I had actual kids to buy toys for, unusually enough).

Ack ... I didn't really look that good for those when I was at the Schaumburg TRU. Can you send a pic of the receipt and toy to news@seibertron.com? I think this is the first sighting for these two figures.

I did pick up a set of the Rescue Heroes Transformers and human accessories. Couple of Optimus Primes and Heatwaves left and two human sets. I grabbed the rest for myself and my daughter.

For those of you on the fence about Ultimate Optimus Prime's price, here he is for $65 at Walmart.com again. Sending to news crew next. Get him while you can!

Went there first thing this morning but didn't side hide nor hair of Shockwave and Ratchet's wave. Someone must've got the Shockwave and the two Optimus Primes that come in the case with Ratchet.

I pondered going hunting for them at other TRUs but after not seeing them yesterday in Schaumburg and them being gone from Niles, I decided it was best to save time and money right now by waiting until they become available online so that I can finish cleaning up my flood situation from last week.

I can't find the receipt, sorry. Did a lot of shopping yesterday, and since I didn't buy anything that would require me to keep a receipt (or so I thought), I think I chucked them all. But it's true I tells ya!

Rosemont Target has 2 each of Warpath, Wheeljack, and Thundercracker around 5pm. Also had Kup, Scourge, and the kiddie non-transforming figures of Megatron and Roadbuster.

Meant to mention that Schaumburg TRU had several Rescue Bots: 2 Optimus Primes, 1 Bumblebee, 1 Heatwave, a few of the human sets and 1 non-transforming large version of Chase and Heatwave which include the book and a human figure.

I'm very sorry to hear that you and your wife lost your baby. My wife and I will keep you and your family in our prayers.

LOL, I don't know. The "Y" would put you pretty far down the list. Maybe next time use a pseudo name that begins with "A"?! Nah, but really it might have to do with when I signed up. I did right before 2010 botcon 6/4/10, so possibly my number came first. I have a buddy who's last name starts with a "V" and he got his 8/1 as well.

I doubt it, I don't think Hasbro has even been there the last few years.

On a side note, my SDCC Preview Prime showed up today! Yay!!

Got this today, now I'm still waiting on my 2 Prime/Primes, and Ult Prime. The Kre-O is just there for size reference.

I am very bummed that HTS sold out before I was able to get this set. I even bought a GIJoe "Thunderwing" F-22 jet (Movie Starscream) and a Movie Cobra Commander for a comparison shot. Guess this will have to wait until I can get my hands on one of these sets at a reasonable price.

Mine arrived today. No bent tailfins/spoiler on mine, but the paint job is much to be desired. It has a paint chip on the hood/chest, and the yellow left eye that homages the original looks very poorly done.

For those of you who have a bent spoiler, you should be able to run it under very hot or boiling water to fix it. While I've had an incredible amount of like fixing stressed plastic and bent plastic pieces on Transformers over the years since I learned this trick, the one time I demonstrated this for Vulgar Wrait and 3.18TransAM, it faded the color of G1 Warpath's turret (which I don't understand why). So do this with caution!

To 3.8TA- I have an original GI Joe Skystriker, do you hate me too? I really should have tried to buy the SS version when it was available, I'm going to regret not getting one once I have the space to display them.
