the snubnose on the jetmode is kinda weak.. but it's the earth worm jim head or the ginormous chin that bothers me.. I may have to pass on him cause of the ugly ass chin!! do they not think when they design **** for cartoon network.. especially that a ginormous chin would look really ridiculous on a friggin transformer!!

Oh and CP, give me all the picks and I'll mirror them here.. that guy is a pain in the ass!! the only person who can sue anyone for pics of a toy is Hasbro since it's their property.. but since it's been sold and posted on a public forum like cybertron.ca, he hasn't a legal leg to stand on..it's the internet, images aren't safe, that's why there is software that can protect them from being taken, or Java pics like Drakhall Jump's website does..(I've been trying to crack into their Transformers Transtech gallery for the better part of a year to get those designs..secretly) either way.. I'm happy to repost his toy images...

Actually again...

Seriously, the forward swept wings is one of the only things that I LIKE. But the jet mode on that toy just looks... dumpy. The nosecone section is odd looking and I'm not really digging that color combo... Even if that WAS Thundercracker, I'd want them to pick a different blue.

I'll have to see if the show is good enough to warm me up to that super chin. I guess I can love it if he can sink ships or decapitate Autobots with it or something. Still. Not a big fan of the look plus simplistic transformation means that I probably won't get one for myself.

If the show is good enough, I might buy one as a birthday present for a nephew though. I'd bet they could appreciate him better than I could.

As a Canadian, Allow me to disavow this jerk! While I would like to apologize for his behaving like the Simpson's Comic Bookstore Guy (only NOT Funny), this guy just amazes me at how petty he is. It's impossible to believe the country that Gave Wolverine his growls harbors this idiot. I'm well...embarrassed.

I like the chin. All you people are comparing him to Jay Leno, FEH.

He's Bruce Campbell. Starscream is totally that badass.

some quick photoshoppery.

With most of chin cut off:

With classics head:

The first one, the head sort of wound up not looking robot enough. Looks more like Batman or something. The classics head, I'm not sure if that's to scale. This mod may or may not work out for real, since the new figure's a voyager, and the classic's a deluxe.

Ooh, I like the one with the classics head. That'd be pretty sweet. Though in the other without the chin, he loses all the masculinity he had. =x

Oh well, Starscream never was among the more masculine of transformers.

I actually wanted to see just how much of that chin I could get away with chopping off. About enough to make a whole other head. Of course you wouldn't have to take that much off. It probably does suit him to have a bit of a chin I reckon.

HAHAHAHAHAH!!! what a fud

Personally i am not too keen on the Animated Transformers but will reserve my final judgments for when the final line is eventually released. I probably wont be purchasing any of them but i have nephews who will be so i will get the opportunity to see them up close.

Really not digging that chin, never mind being a plane, you could land one on that protrusion.

You... you just made it infinitely badass!

I think that classic Screamer head looks totally silly shopped on there. It so doesn't work with those skinny legs. Haha!

That's what he did on A3U too...and I was the one criticizing UBB. In the end me and another member just agreed it's personal opinion and agreed to disagree.

Dude, dude! Try Movie TC/G1 Repaint Screamer's head! That's what I envisioned.

Thanks to juushinkan and kirbenvost for the pics of jets with forward-swept wings. For others curious, here's the Wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forward-swept_wing.

All the designs that I've seen for forward-swept wings seem to require the little winglets closer to the cockpit, which might even have looked cool on this Thundercracker/Starscream mold, but I'm glad I don't have to suspend all disbelief that this SS could fly. Specifically, he's geared for maneuverability at mach .8-1.2. I'm sure the physics of flight are exactly what the animators had in mind when they designed him. :P Regardless, now that I can accept the wings, I can call this one of my favorite Starscream molds, at least as far as its representation in pictures is concerned. Have to wait and see if he's as fun as he looks like!

Edit: Now that I think about it, that design is *perfect* for Thundercracker. He has top maneuverability right around the speed of sound. That means he's constantly going just above or below the sound barrier, so that he's making sonic booms to distract or frighten opponents. If that ever gets written into the show, I'll be danged impressed.

I don't mind the look, even the head, but if his mouth was positioned lower on the jaw overall, I think it would look a 1000 times better..

The guy spent over a month arguing with me here cuase Im not a big fan of the movie deisgns and toys.

He's a prat. Move on.

As for the toy. I like the robot mode, and the alt mode looks ok from some angles, and not so good from others.

Megatroptimus is gone from these forums. He won't ever come back. The more we discuss it, the more we just feed his need for attention.

He can dangle his exclusive photos in front of the collective faces of the Seibertron.com community and staff, we don't care. We're not falling for it, and he's not going to bribe us into letting him back on.

We all have to learn to live without his exclusive images. But if that means also learning to live without his pompous, trouble-making, childish attitude, then I think we'll all be just fine.

this starscream looks better w/ classic head, like bumblethumper had shown.

but i think, it's better to give this figure 2 horns on his head & rename him as cyclonus.

good alt mode, but something can be better in robot mode.
