Ericus Prime wrote:First off, while I liked Beast Wars Megatron, nothing can match the original Megatron, nothing. I just wanted to get that off my chest. With that in mind, I've accepted the movie Megatron and will get the leader class figure. Heck, I plan on getting Leader class Prime, so it seems right. However, I do agree that he needs a better paint job, so I think I'll get him and give him a silver paint job myself. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

If you air brush it, post some picks..
SnapTrap wrote:A few of the other TF boards are talking about a slight mod to Movie Megatron that gets the fusion cannon to stay open and gets the right hand to fire. Apparently, when the figures were assembled, the spring that closes the fusion cannon should have been placed in the right arm so that the right claw fires. All it takes is to unscrew the two screws for the fusion cannon and pop out the spring, and put it back together. Then open up the right arm and attach the spring on the trigger button and reattach the arm and you are done. I tried this on my Movie Megs and it was a simple procedure. So now you can at least have working gimmicks on this hideous trainwreck of a figure...
jonwes wrote:I don't think the spring in the right arm was a mess up. I think I figured it out, finally. Connect the two arms together (at point A) with the tabs and then deploy the cannon. There is a space in the left arm that is sculpted differently (point B) that acts as a catch for the cannon. There you have it! It's pretty cool, really. Too bad the instructions don't tell you any of this!

Blockiness.
That sweet, sweet, G1 blockiness, yes?
Not so bad now, is it? And they're even "movie" figures lol!
I have no further questions, your honor!

I figured out part A, a few days ago. Part B I missed.
Nicely done, thank you.

I've haven't had enough experience air-brushing, so it's probably going be hand painted.

No flame from me, Megs should be a tank.
