Minicon bug?

Anyone else notice minicons disapearing as soon as a mission starts? Is this a bug? Or just something i'm not aware off?

They also disappear at the 10 min mark (I could have sworn it was 5 mins) in an arena battle.

What exactly do you mean by disappear? I haven't used a minicon for a long time now, and I've got 3 of them in my inventory. They are completely useless because the Quintesson missions are no longer appearing.

Well when your minicon is equipped you have a little minicon logo next to the your bots name.
However if it disappears it's an indication that your bot has been stasis locked and the minicon destroyed and it's occurring before the mission or arena battle ends.

And that's if and only if you refresh the window below the 20 (or 10 for arena) minute mark.

Could this be because the outcome of the fight was already determined, so the result of the stasis applied? Or are the transformers NOT in stasis at the end of the fight but still lost their minicon?

The only way for a bot to lose it's minicon is for the bot to be stasis locked.

So Burn you are saying the RNG already knows before the mission begins that one side is going to lose?! So Minicons disappearing means my con is stasislocked...
That bug is annoying before the timer has run out i already know i lost that take away alittle of the fun of playing.

Yes. The Mission results are calculated immediately at the mission beginning. The length of the mission is just coded in so you can't just keep throwing bots in missions back to back to back.
edit: fixed wording so it's not misunderstood.

No. the mission isn't processed until it begins, usually it's processed within a tiny fraction of those twenty minutes(unless the game server is having an awful day or there's a bejillion of us playing). that twenty minutes is just there to set the pace of the game
the timestamps in mission logs have no relationship to actual time, me and Burn have pushed the mission log time to 22minutes, but the log was available 20 minutes after the missions was done. and the minicons disapeared seconds after the mission started.
