how do you get minicons and what do they do

Right now minicons are a feature that was removed. This is the part of debate but in my opinion and some others they where bad as they through the balance out of whack. Example player has 10 str. equips the str. minicon i think his name was lifter he then has 14 str.
There are other reasons to but that was my main complaint about them.

To be honest, most of the time, all they were was a horrific waste of money.

As were the minicons on this game!

also if you were knocked out the minicon was destroyed. you could only have 12 total (including ones that were equipped) and to get more you had to win special missions.

it wasn't just strength their were ones for speed and fire power. 14 firepower strafers.....

And that's why minicons aren't coming back

14 Fp strafers... there were better.

You gave a con a strength-amplifier minicon, PLUS maxed out the strength-amplifier robot mode, the result: 19 strength, that config had the power to knock out most of the enemies in one kick.

I didn't mind them. Minicons did favor me...roughly 60/40.

Sure I kicked aft with them, got some pretty good scores and 100% strafe kills, and repaired the team to victory, etc. But they also helped the BOTs slaughter my team now and again.

It was a great reason for blowing money. Instead of on weapons and armor.
