Strange Crosscut isn't a honda city turbo like Skids considering they were (I think?) the same mould. He does come with the motocompo and some things from Reboost... kinda temping.

I really wish I could afford Crosscut and Skids, the latter being a fave of mine since his characterization in that one Marvel comic back in the day. And Crosscut just looks nice.

So, X-Cut is essentially gray Spinout.

I already have Spinout on pre-order so I don't need this on. But it's nice to have the option.

I think this might be my favourite of the three Skids mold versions so far. The colours are great, and it comes with the Motorcompo scooter. If I get any of these it'll be him.

The best price and the best place to pre-order would be Amazon.jp. For Japan, Canada, and USA at the very least. Plus one amazing thing is these MPs are barely more expensive than your standard leader... for now.

So is Crosscut the end? Or do you think they will complete the variant set and go for MP Screech?

Check the hood, he is not a turbo model, hence why skids has a hood bump. It is accurate to the G1 toy however.

They would have to include the green repaint that was released with him too. Both we're an homage to the DotM Skids and Mudfalp twins.

He's MP-53+. MP-55 is a typo (happens), MP-53 and MP-54 and calling it a turbo instead of an R are Entertainment Earth's errors.

Nope; both versions with that head design are the regular City R rather than the turbo.
For reference:

Yeah I realized that in my second post, strange they didn’t decide to make reboost a turbo with a name like that and just given him the red head first along skids, unless they really wanna milk the City R mould first to get retooling costs back.

Ah, I failed to see your second post earlier.
Personally, I think Reboost's blue head makes the color scheme significantly more appealing. Remolding aside, it looks like the only other difference between the red Honda City decos is the stripes, so I'd be surprised if the other one gets the MP treatment. The same goes for any Generations Skids mold released in the near future, as I'd imagine the Crosscut-style head would be the pretooled alternate head, and thus readily available.

Wanted to say it's neat that Crosscut is happening, and in short order too! Hopefully this mold does well, between it's current 3 uses
