Time for rapid fire!

Looks like the Bengals weren't all they were cracked up to be. On the other hand, Andre Johnson is a sick receiver and Schaub torched the Bengals for almost 400 yards. Did Houston win it or did Cincy lose it? I can't tell...

At least today's zero for the Lions won't translate as "equal to the wins the Lions had in 2009"...Stafford is good, but they need to sit him and let him heal. Green Bay should have won by more...except they had to kick like 50 field goals...Red zone offense anyone?

St. Louis has rediscovered Steven Jackson is good. Unfortunately every one else is bad. ANd yet the Jags nearly lost. Not a good sign for them...

Minnesota is good. Damned good. That said, nice comeback by the Ravens. Maybe Favre's age is creeping into the D and they are tiring easily at the end of games?

Saints made the Giants look like the Lions. That's just sick. Brees scored me a sweet fantasy win again...against the same guy I was playing when he threw 6 TDs. Wonder if my friend will ever talk to me again?

Pittsburgh seems to be picking up steam...and that is not good for the rest of the AFC. Polamalu already got a pic. THen again, it WAS Cleveland...does the game even officially count as a win?

Washington has yet to play a team that has won a game, but is 2-4 against them. Do the Redskins play the Rams at all...? Congrats to Matt Cassel on winning a game without a cheating head coach...ERRRRRR...his first win as the main man outside New ENgland.

Oakland beat Philly. No really. It happened. Did we enter some alternate dimension? I think Philly lost that one more than Oakland won it. That HAD to be it. No other logical explanation. At least, by this time, Al Davis will have forgotten there was a game today...senility sucks.

Seattle is confusing the hell out of me. Are they good? Are they bad? Are you as glad as me they didn't wear those nasty green uniforms? Nice game from Warner for the Cards. THey have enough offense to overcome his fumblitis. HELLO! DUCT TAPE ANYONE?

New England won 59-0 over the Titans. You know, there's a team here in Rockford- high school team- called the Titans. Think they played by mistake?

Mark Sanchez must be colorblind. Keeps throwing to the wrong color uniform...5 picks? Really? The sad thing is Buffalo STILL needed OT to win, even while getting like 300 turnovers. At least they are the Lions-2009 edition. Dick Jauron is still toast.

My beloved Bears shot themselves in the foot over and over and over. Atlanta played well, I give them credit, but the Bears definitely LOST that game. CUtler did well outside of a couple picks, but hey even Jesus only converted water to wine and not the perfection of whiskey. ;;) Ok, bad analogy. Nice game by Matt Ryan. ANd just how many more linebackers are the Bears going to lose? Is Mike Singletary available?
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Cleveland may not be the best team in the NFL right now(or ever), but they didn't exactly roll over and let the Steelers do whatever they wanted. A decent Cleveland team showed up in Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh had to fight for the win. If it wasn't for a few mistakes Cleveland could have easily won the game.

Most games I'll admit when Cleveland is terrible, but this game, they really showed promise. Not that they're going to show it again this season, but at least they did it against the YELLOW and black.

Yellow, not gold people!

OS...I have to agree. I really expected the Browns to roll over against Pittsburgh. They didn't. They showed some heart. I tend to think they have more talent on defense than offense anyways. The QB situation is not what they had hoped. BUt they let Rothlesburger throw for 400 yards and still would have had a chance to win if they could score. No, the Browns aren't the bad at all. Props for not being the Titans... :o)

Denver has offically impressed me. Damned good team.

On another subject, I'm looking forward to Nov 30th: Saints vs Pats in new Orleans...should be a party...

I don't think so. A lot of people only think of the D when they say 'Ravens' and don't give credit to Flacco and McClain or even the wide receivers. So the comeback was just the Ravens being good. However, I am firmly convinced now that unless they meet in an earlier round, the NFC will be decided between the Vikings and the Saints.

Oakland beat Philly. No really. It happened. Did we enter some alternate dimension? I think Philly lost that one more than Oakland won it. That HAD to be it. No other logical explanation. At least, by this time, Al Davis will have forgotten there was a game today...senility sucks.

 Go Raiders!!! (I hate the Eagles. Now they have TWO QBs I can't stand.)

Seattle is bad.

As a Titans fan, (the pro Titans :P ) I am seriously considering the Witness Protection Program. Maybe I can run into their defense. Horrible.

My beloved Bears shot themselves in the foot over and over and over. Is Mike Singletary available?

I heard he's got a sweet gig out West. :P But maybe Jim McMahon or Mongo McMichael are around...

Looks like Cutler is going to be with the Bears for a long time...extension signed today for two more years. I think that puts him with the Bears until 2013 or 2014. If we can actually get a wide receiver before then, it'll be good.

I heard it too. THe story was supposedly that the player used the water from the minifridge and then made a fuss and refused to pay for it. I can see where a fine would be justified here...it's called stealing. They may charge outlandish prices for the stuff in the hotel minifridge, but once you sign in you agree contractually to pay for it.

Yeah, true. That just happened during preseason. The player took a bottle of water and refused to pay because he thought the team should pay for it. Mangini fined him $1701.00 for it. Not sure why that amount. And I am too lazy to look up the ESPN link. :P

Some people.... lol. Ummm... should I pay $3 or $1700 plus?? Hmmmm.... And he though the team should pay for it? Most players in the NFL get paid alot more than regular people working 40 plus hours and 6 days a week.

This Cards/Giants game is turning out great! Monday Night is the Eagles and Skins. I'ma former Skins fan, tired of their BS, even though I live in the area, only like them a little bit just cuz they are hometeam, but I hope they get their butts handed to them.
