I think the gist of this line is 'piloting titan-sized versions of themselves to fight titan-sized enemies' so, by that logic, megatron is piloting a galvatron-styled mech suit...

Your right about the ball jointed neck QC concern. I think the TM's heads are static, and the whole socket rotates. Let's hope.
(but somebody said it above, this will mean no Y axis for the heads)

If the figures are more stable and less prone to issues, then I am ok with Swivel heads. And that they work with Brainstorm's design (which based on a few looks it looks like they do)

Blaster's "headmaster" unit is apparently called Twincast, though. I think there's definitely more than meets the eye to the story behind this gimmick.

I have 2 theories.

1: The titan masters (the heads) will be sold with the smaller vehicles/beasts.

2: Since we see no voyager class here, I believe that thes smaller vehicle/beasts will come with the deluxe headmasters.

I think number 2 ( ) is the more probable option since it wouldnt make much sense to release the nighteat and horribul head alone. Horribull will most definitely be a retool of skullcruncher.

It's not that, it's that I don't really care for G1 stuff that I don't find cool, most of this so far is just that, band G1 junk; I've had G1 fatigue for several years now, so, yeah, I think it's time to move on.

Glavatron is kinda cool, and I would probably get Mindwipe and weirdwolf though, and anybody else that looks cool; I just don't like or buy stuff 'cuz G1'; that's never been me, nor will it ever be me.

Hey, i really don't buy stuff cuz G1 either. This combiner Prime was my first G1 Prime, if you can believe that. Plus i don't buy stuff cuz it's G1, I buy them because they made an impact, so I must like them character wise or they just look badass or have a badass vibe or gimmick. That's my style.

My tought on this is very good. I love that they are trying to capture the old headmasters syle. I am really digging it. And I love seeing all these characters. With the exception of Galvatron, I really dig all of these guys. Galvatron simply is not as awesome as I would have hoped. I really wished they went the IDW earth mode route with him, but I guess its ok. Most of these guys I will probably buy.

Wow, galvatron looks to be about as tall as defensor/bruticus' leg is long, that's substantially smalle than any pic makes him out to be
