TransMissions Episode 116 - SDCC Highs and Lows | TransMissions
Here is a breakdown of the news of the leaks so far, take with a grain of salt, since they won't publish the pictures to the public.
Titan Wars will be heavy with Headmasters, base gimmicks and cassette.
Figures will include:
1. Leader Powermaster Optimus Prime, heavy remold of Combiner Wars Leader Ultra Magnus. This will be a Headmaster/Powermaster.
2. Soundwave, headmaster, a heavy remold of Titan Wars Blaster, alt modes include base and a ipod hifi type mode.
3. Legends Eject. Alt modes include the tablet mode we saw on upcoming Legends Buzzsaw and another tank.
4. Legends Stripes. Tiger mode looks a lot like Steeljaw, but different colors.
--
Rumors for 7/31/2015
1. We have confirmation that Blaster is Leader Class. We also have word that Leader Class Optimus Prime's head will turn into a Ginrai.
2. It does not look like Cerebros will have a vehicle alt mode (perhaps a base alternate mode?).
3. You can expect the other Headmasters to be released in Voyager Class like Brainstorm, and the heads for all the Titan Wars Headmasters will be compatible with Generations Brainstorm. They will all come with a small beast mode partner who becomes a vehicle the head can ride.
4. For the Deluxes in Titan Wars, expect the 1986 movie robots in Cybertronian alt modes.
--
Rumors for 8/7/2015
1. Titan Wars will have a Legends class Rewind, Rumble and Frenzy.
2. Titan Wars will have a Headmaster Galvatron, size class unconfirmed.
--
Rumors for 8/14/2015
This week's Transmissions Titan War leaks.
1. Titan Wars Headmaster Galvatron will NOT be a remold of Combiner Wars Leader Megatron. Its form is based on G1 Galvatron toy and IDW Spotlight Galvatron.
2. The "Deluxes" in Titan Wars will perhaps be larger and more complex than recent Deluxes, possibly with a larger price point more like a Voyager.
3. The small partners that come with the figures for Titan Wars will be called "Titan Masters".
--
Rumors for 8/21/2015
Just the one piece of news/rumor for this week.
1. There will be a Titan Wars Headmaster Sentinel Prime. He will be a Headmaster. His colors are based on the WFC Sentinel Prime. Size class and alt mode unknown.
--
Rumors for 8/28/2015
1. There will be a Titan Wars Alpha Trion toy. Size class unknown. It seems to have beast mode kibble on it. Possibly a triple changer with beast and ship alt modes.
2. Upcoming Headmasters will include Brainstorm (may or may not be a reuse of the Voyager Generations mold), Chromedome, Hardhead, Highbrow, Nightbeat, Siren, Horribull and Skullcruncher.
3. Upcoming Deluxe 1986 movie accurate figures will include Scourge and Blurr.
--
Rumors for 9/4/2015
1. Titan Wars Headmaster Galvatron and Headmaster Sentinel Prime will both be VOYAGER class figures.
2. Titan Wars Alpha Trion is NOT a remold of Combiner Wars Sky Lynx (this was a question asked last week).
3. Cassettes coming out include Ravage (turns into a PDA and a plane) and Rumble (red and black, turns into PDA and tank).
4. The Headmaster (called Titanmaster) figures will have helmets built into the figures, and the head figured will fit into the helmets. You can swap the heads to change the faces.
5. Headmaster Blaster's head looks like a tiny Blaster, Headmaster Soundwave's head looks like a tiny SG Soundwave.
--
Updates for 9/25/2015
1. Combiner Wars (yes a Combiners Wars rumor!) will have a G2 Bruticus boxed set.
2. Titan Wars Headmaster Brainstorm will be a Deluxe, not the Generations Voyager mold.
3. Titan Wars Decepticon Headmasters will include Mindwipe and Weirdwolf.

Is that a repaint?
Since we don't need two explanations for the same figure in a row I'll change my comment.
Is it just me or does that Hardhead look like a voyager and not a deluxe? It looks pretty damn beefy and looks to be larger overall than Skullcruncher. Also it might just be the illusion of distance in the pictures but Hardhead looks like he'd tower over Windblade and come up to around Bruticus' pelvis whereas Skullcruncher looks like he comes up to Sky Reign's knee.
Wait, what? I just assumed Hardhead was a Voyager. That will be weird if he is a deluxe, because Brainstorm is a pretty big voyager.brokenchopstick wrote:Alpha Weltall wrote:carytheone wrote:So I'm slowly going over the images and I notices something. Whats up with that Windblade back there?

I think the sheer level of sculpting on Hardhead also helps: I'd expect to see that on a Voyager not a Deluxe. Plus, I think my brain also assumed he'd be sized to match Brainstorm. But yeah, he's one beefy deluxe!

The Blaster and the reissues and Twincast are all the same mould family any changes are fairly minor like making the chest hold two cassettes on some versions.
I've never handled a Platinum Blaster so thanks for reminding me something that I'd previously forgot to ask - so I'll ask does that now does the Platinum Blaster hold 2 cassettes or one ?
Anyway The reissues and G1 original and the platinum are bigger toys height wise than Cybertron/Universe Blaster or even WFC/FOC Blaster.
I wonder if they've considered that the Titan-Master minivehicle things could shape wise replicate Actionmaster Companions as I am getting a hint from them of that sort of look to them - especially the new dinosaur's resemblance to Tyrannitron.
P.s.
It turns out the reason Galvatron looks small is he's a Voyager not a leader.

4. Legends Stripes. Tiger mode looks a lot like Steeljaw, but different colors.
- Firstly, we already had a listing for stripes long ago. Wha we didnt know was how he looked like. Doesnt look like Steeljaw to me, this has a way more narrow head and no mane.
3. You can expect the other Headmasters to be released in Voyager Class like Brainstorm, and the heads for all the Titan Wars Headmasters will be compatible with Generations Brainstorm. They will all come with a small beast mode partner who becomes a vehicle the head can ride.
- The other headmasers are NOT released in voyager class like Bainstorm and they DO NOT come wth smaller beast mode partners. Those are bought seperately with individual heads.
2. The "Deluxes" in Titan Wars will perhaps be larger and more complex than recent Deluxes, possibly with a larger price point more like a Voyager.
- They sure as hell dont look more complex than the deluxe class and not sure about them being that much larger, thats yet to be confirmed.
2. Upcoming Headmasters will include Brainstorm (may or may not be a reuse of the Voyager Generations mold), Chromedome, Hardhead, Highbrow, Nightbeat, Siren, Horribull and Skullcruncher.
- Only Hardhead and Skullcruncher are confirmed. The rest are just heads that come with a little vehicle. No sights or mention of Brainstorm.
4. The Headmaster (called Titanmaster) figures will have helmets built into the figures, and the head figured will fit into the helmets. You can swap the heads to change the faces.
5. Headmaster Blaster's head looks like a tiny Blaster
-This is only the case with Blaster (since the titan master doesnt fit into a helmet for Galvatron) and even then the face will not change that much sice his helmet takes over much of the titan master. The face will change more for Galvatron. Also it's the leader headmasters (not titan masters) that have the built in helmet.
