Wait a sec, rewind hs 3 modes.

Look at the tank turret, you can flip down the grey parts so that they end up flush and make an even rectagular prism aka a tape (or soemthing of the sort). Then he can end up in Blaster.



And just saying this now, I dont have the money for all of this (especially if I am getting MP Shockwave). And I wouldnt spend my limited money on 2 base former casette players. So if they are making Soundwave out of this Blaster mold, then I will skip Blaster all together and jus get Soundwave.

Not at all. It's important to remember what we are looking at. Hand painted samples under bad light, transformed by a marketing rep.

I have totally warmed up. What I dislike about him is actually how his hands come out, it means there is little articulation there. I also am not fond of the kibble all around his arms and the way he has his cannon attached. Truth be told, the headmaster gimisk is the least of his problems, to me.

That Skullcruncher is amazing though. I really think 2014's scoop brought us to a new era. Generations/Classics is no logner about updating the G1 character designs but instead just giving us the G1 toys with better scale/articulation. Pretty much, G1 style with today's technology.

I don't *dislike* this galvatron, strangely enough since I have never been a big fan of galvatron's alt mode, but I do have one major worry: The swingout faceplate looks like it stays static and removes all the head swivel ability from the figure.

Titans Return looks interesting so far. I think the "Headmaster" gimmick will be very fun to play around with. I'll be getting any and all proper G1 Headmaster characters coming out, but I'm not sold on Blaster. He's too big. FoC Blaster is a much better "Classics" Blaster for my purposes. Galvatron? Also too big, and I'm not sold on the head sculpt either. Believe it or not, I prefer the 2008 Deluxe version, repainted perfectly for the Decepticon Specialists box set for the Asian market, released late 2014 (or early 2015?). Honestly, I'll be happy to NOT need to buy everything in this new series. It will save more money for the amazing Masterpiece figures coming out early in 2016!

I had no interest in decepticon headmasters until I saw Skullcruncher. Now I am reconsidering it

I thought the whole "new cassetticons having multiple forms" thing was confirmed back when they first showed off Buzzsaw? Buzzsaw has his bird mode, rectangle mode and a Battlebot/forklift mode. Stripes has his cat table mode, rectangle mode and jet mode. Rewind has his robot mode, rectangle mode and tank mode.

That doesn't say great things about today's technology. I had 3 of the newer versions of Brainstorm, the heads popped off of Arcana on all of them, even the 'fixed' editions, and the arms broke off as well. I transformed them only once or twice, I didn't throw them in a dryer with poker chips. My '87 version has never had an issue.

I'd be shocked if Rewind doesn't fit in blaster. I just assumed that thing in blaster was Rewind, but that wide shot does seems to be different thing. Either way, Rewind's bot mode is fantastic and he is heading to a MTMTE shelf near you.

It seems They are "media players" but the screen saver on rewind's is a casette.

I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to love, or hate that Galvatron figure. I'll decide when we actually get pictures of his NOT glued together.

Well, I'm about as underwhelmed as I figured I would be, although I ended going 'dawh, they're so cute ' far more than I thought I ever would in the generations thread

Definitely getting skullcruncher (could he be any more hollow ), but can anyone (seibs) tell if they still have arcana's ball-joined neck, or are they using a static swivel with no y-axis movement? If they are sticking with a ball joint it will prove to be a frustrating year'n'a'half of qc issues

That's not a prototype SS. It's the actual item for the domestic release. Unlike the first samples of Blastoff with rushed paint apps.

About Galvatron, is he gnna be an upgrade of Megs? Why'd he allow Nucleon to share/cohabitate his body? Is Nucleon from Nebulos or inorganic like the cyberdroids of Cybertron?
