We're (or at least I am) startign to get enough stats where we can really take advantage of being out numbered too.

Yeah, we seem to have a lot of players I don't think I've ever seen in a mission. Unfortunate, cause by the numbers it looks like we should be all set, player-wise.

That is cuase you are like the Bot's little brother.
People who dont really care tend to go for the 'good team', and anybody who was a kid around the BWs era will go for the Maximals, play twice, get shut out, and leave.

Ratty, if ever there was a good argument for ditching the arena, this is it.

OS is a maximal now, surely he must have noticed it too?

Actually, I think it's a better argument for giving us some combined two faction vs. two faction missions, and lowering the single faction missions for beasts to 4v4.

I still like having the arena as an occasional option, though I do admit it's unfortunate that some players stay in there all the time.

Kill the xp payout of the arena, maybe increase its energon prize, while removing the missions energon win bonus

Weapon: Twin Swords
Maybe not kill it, but reduce it to 1-5 xp per percent of damage dealt, a stasis lock gains the SLer 100-500xp, etc.

I only suggest this, as people may be forced into the arena by not wanting to participate in suicide missions, as I know I have

Glad to know i was right in my first post. I think 25% would be fair, though if we forced everyone into suicide missions the number of actual suicide missions would decrease

I've been in nothing but outnumbered suicide missions pretty much all morning. Many of those missions wouldn't have been outnumbered if the beast missions were reduced to 4v4.

Also, it would help if the Cons couldn't generate missions vs. us. I often see seven or eight open missions against them, with their side already filled. There's obviously no way we can fill them or do much besides spread our forces thin to participate, or retreat to the arena.

If I see any pred or max missions that are badly understaffed on the beastie sides, I've been making a point not to join them, just to try and help them out a bit. If it looks even then I'll jump in, but if everyone might bear that in mind to help the other factions out a bit, it might help boost numbers.

PM Accepted. I'll probably be rejoining the preds again anyway. Random dice roll told me to, they're the lowest. I was just never a fan of the predacons.

rightio.

hows this sound

scrap win xp bonuses entirely

introduce survival xp bonuses; basicaly you get xp equal to your health*2^level, or maybe half your health...

except in unopposed missions, which pay nothing.

Hmm, that could work, but at the moment you will still have a bunch of level one cons winning/killing level 0 bots. And from what i've seen so far, most of the level 1's survive, which means they'll still get a bonus and the cycle continues, albeit a smaller one by your math.

I cant say I've seen any marked difference between lvl 1 survival rate and lvl 0 survival rate.
