I need some repaint ideas for generations legends Powerglide, Starscream, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Hot Rod, and Megatron. I may do something with those ideas in about a few months. If you want, shoot some ideas for Warpath, Cyclonus, or Galvatron.

It's about idea for customisations. It was just a matter of the logic to ask about customs ideas in the actual customs forums.

I suck at painting and painting tiny legend scale figures would be a near impossible task for me. I always tend to apply coats that are too thick and that would just destroy figures at those scales. But if you're good at this, I'd REALLY want these to be done. Consider the following as selfish requests of mine:

Powerglide: Universe Stormcloud A.K.A "Nemesis Powerglide". That character need the love.

Starscream: Machine Wars Starscream. The challenge would be to mod the head if possible. If not, having a classic looking Starscream in Machine Wars colors would be very interesting.

Optimus Prime: G2 Euro exclusive THUNDERCLASH! To see it in such a tiny scale would be awesome.

Bumblebee: Make a custom face plate and do Goldbug. I know one already exist in RTS, but he have the wrong face. And if you'll use the Generations one or the Titan Return one, no Goldbug exist yet.

Hot Rod: Rodimus Unicronus. Complete with custom beard and blue flames details. This will be a challenge to make everything look clean.

Megatron: Tharn from IDW, but in Earth mode. Complete with custom mask.

You can go in two direction for this: eHobby Gobots Bad Boy, or a G1 version of BW Sky Shadow.

Starscream: look no further than the plethora of generics:



Bumblebee: forget the red, yellow and blue. Try something exotic like silver or orange:

Now here's a thread I can get behind! I have way too many ideas for repaints and retools. Here's a few:

TR Perceptor into Mainframe with Titan Master Push-Button (New face, replace the microscope tube with a computery looking "transmitter gun", perhaps paint the knobs on his arms to look like retro computer programme reels).

TR Galvatron into Energon Megatron (Straight redeco, perhaps with a better engineered helmet gimmick).

TR Slugslinger into Energon Slugslinger (New face).

RID Windblade into Animated Lyzack (New head, chest, weapons and wings).

CW Cyclonus into BM Jetstorm (New head and combiner head, and new weapons).

CW First Aid into PCC Smolder (New head).

CW Brawl into Armada Demolisher (New head, pack him with two of Skydive's guns and a CW-style HFG allowing for him to assume the "quad tank" configuration).

Various POTP molds into Infernocus (Torso is a heavy Grimlock retool, limbs are moderately retooled from the Deluxe Terrorcons, all come with new weapons).

RTS Lugnut into Combusta (New head).

CW Onslaught into Strika (New head, chest and weapons).

TR Arcee into Cybertron Override (New face).

ROTF Mindwipe into Soundwave (Straight redeco).

CW Hot Spot/Onslaught into Stalker (Heavy retool, not sure which version I'd use).

Various CW/POTP molds into "Dread Tidings", a combiner made of G1 versions of the DOTM Dreads (Crankcase and Crowbar from First Aid with new heads and weapons, Hatchet made from CW Deszarus/Sky Lynx with new weapons, two new female Dreads- let's call them "Jack-knife" and "Switchblade"- from Moonracer/Novastar with new heads and weapons).

I love your ideas, but I was asking for ideas for the figures I listed. Sorry.

I may have some ideas for Megatron, but one requires a really tiny brush. As luck would have it, Megatron toys have been redecoed into a lot of new characters, here's two of them:

Well, that's one "Bludgeon" I never knew existed. They could have at least made an effort to give him a skull-face.

Well, that's one "Bludgeon" I never knew existed. They could have at least made an effort to give him a skull-face.

That one was released as a KB Toys (anyone remember that store?) exclusive redeco back in 2003. It was around the advent of the first Universe line of redecos, often cast as G1 characters.

Different guy named Bludgeon.

And how could anyone forget KB? I'm way sadder about KB closing than TRU since KB was so ubiquitous. I've only ever had two TRU stores in my whole state, but KB was everywhere, I even had one local to me that closed in '97 or '98 just before I got my driver's license. Thankfully it was in the same strip mall where my mom did our grocery shopping so I was never short of opportunities to catch a ride while it was there.
