The fact it's so close would make it even more inteligent to play strategicly. And just cuase you have the xp and the back up to fling your guys in missions and expect to survive, dosnt mean the rest of us, with smaller factions and less xp do.

Now I admit in the normal run of play, it annoys me that people hide in the arena rather than risk the missions, but thats becuase in the normal run of play, there isnt really that much to lose. But as someone who is always trying to include strategic playing into my own ideas, and as someone who knows all too well how difficult it is if you aint a con, I can fully understand Electron's tactic (although I will say that it also means you cant add to your own, which might be hurting your chances, concidering how the preds are so outnumbered by the bots, and the most regular preds are also hunt members).

I don't disagree entirely. Esp in the case of the beasties...there are far fewer than there are bots. There are a TON of bots lingering around these days. From my perspective, as you said, it makes more sense to not LOSE opportunities to scalp than it does to shy away for fear of BEING scalped and that's how I play.

For the record, I'm not calling Electron a "pussy" in the traditional sense. He's an all 'round decent guy, imho. I'm just teasing him a bit.

Fact is, I've only got 4 more scalps of your team, total, than you have of mine so I'm not sure why you would hide when we're nearly 50/50 against each other...

But, I guess you're right. Cowardice IS a strategy for some I suppose.. Gee, I sure hope I don't scare anybody else away.

yeh but u don't seem to understand its not about u, it never was, its about points and ratios, and if my lose ratio is higher than my win ratio, it will effect my team

if its was jus me in this scalp , id dive in as many missions as poss, but theres no point in losing if i don't have, i'l jus bide my time in the arena, when the odd's are more favourable

You also have to rmember, that whilst they *are* filling missions, a lot of the bots are really aueful builds, and lower levels, becuase a lot of them are people who never thought to go onto the forum, and as such have never really learnt how this game works (cause I can tell you all, from personal experiance, if you dont have a mind like Tam's, and you dont ask questions on the forums, and read other people's posts on the forums, you will not learn jack about how this game really works).

It's not real hard to do what Tam did. He recruited some people and they tracked the damages and how stats effected characters by pooring over mission results. Wrote it all down, averaged everything out, and wala. The Con's broke the game open and know how it works.

All it takes is communication amongst your and dedication to understanding it.

I kinda want to agree with GS, that the hunters shouldn't be using the arena during the hunt, but at the same time, I understand the reason they're doing it. I would be to if I wasn't looking for missions to provide some back up in for my fellow Preds. However, GS really needs to cut out the douchebaggery.

I feel bad for the maxi's, never thought i'd say that.

the only have 2 guys in the hunt and the odds are stacked against them.

But I feel electrons pain. our team is gettin knocked out left and right. i got 5 scalps yesterday, after 13 hours of play!

put hey its all a game so i cant really complain, its just harsh on the preds right now, but luckily the higher ranking preds are turning out in record numbers.
