We're not talking about the G1 Superion knockoff.

We're talking about the OFFICIAL repaint of the Micromaster Sixwing that was released under the Universe line as "Universe Superion".

Ah....i see. I just hear "BIG LOTS" and see nothing but red. And crap. lol

Don't. I bought one and gave it away. The candy is worth more than that hunk of crap.

my experience with Rail Racer/rail bots

Postby wmpyr » Sun May 06, 2007 2:23 am

Weapon: Laser Scalpel
ok 1st thing is that it's a pain in the rear to get them.
CVS pharmacy is the only place that carries em round here.
The Big Lots I saw em in was far far far away.
no other big lots I've seen has em.

tis also a pain cause 1st place I went to had 3 of what
I wanted, and 2 of the same aerial bots.

2nd store had 2 of the other ones I needed, and the other
one they had was the same as one of em.

so I'm missing one. my quest continues.

I wish Hasbro/Takara would just make it to where
all gestalt arms are interchangeable with each other.
all gestalt legs are interchangeable.
all gestalt heads are interchangeable.
all gestalt torsos are interchangeable.

at least for this line, it would make things so much
easier for us.
And also, make the hand and feet generic so they can
be both right or left.
so technically I can have 2 of the same bots that
become gestalt arms to be the arms.

I'm not saying make all the pieces the same,
for example aerial bots gestalt fist can have spikes
on the knuckles like Predaking.
rail bots gestalt fists can have laser gun on the middle.

this would just make the completion so much easier
and less waste for the buyer who cannot find a part.

Also satisfies the picky completist collectors because
it gives them the option to stick with the proper team
members.

but also it will please TF toy fans who are picky,
and like a certain face to go with a certain arm, body,
leg, etc.

so you can semi build your own dream gestalt bot.

I like mini bots, these guys do not take up space, yet
they will become a decent sized TF, makes me happy.

also because they are mini-con & energon compatible,
it makes me feel like it was worth the time, hassel,
search, money (they are expensive)
this is roughly a $30 TF!

good to have the ancestor to mini-cons in my collection.
very pleased. I do like this Rail Racer.
he is now my 2nd choice, Devastator being 1st, but oh well.
can't have everything we want.

Hmm...I'll have to check CVS...

I found four out of the six at KayBee Toys for $3.99 each. Still can't find the last two. It's driving me batsh**-insane. All I found at Big Lots was Cybertron Evac KO...

Meh, I got one for $5 on clearance. I got the toy, my wife ate the candy. I'd never had the original, so I thought it would be cool to get this.

I was wrong. SUPER cheap plastic, some fo the halves of the figures don't stay together, and the stickers are terrible. They do combine, but I can't get mine to stand up.

Yeah, that KO Superion is a POS. I wonder if the real one is so crummy.

He's suposed to fit together better, but he's still a bit bandy legged.

Well, I love gestalts more than just about anything else in the TF universe, but Superion and Devastator are two I'll probably never spring for becuase the KOs I've had or known of have been so junky that I fear the real ones. DEvastator gets KOed like every three months it seems but I just don't feel like trying my luck on an authentic one.

The legs on Superion are really cruddy. I thought it was just a problem of the KO I had, but I guess not.

I don't know which one you guys are referring to. Is it the Micormaster sized one with the Go-Bot seaplane (on a card) or the larger set (in a box)?

If it's the first choice, I picked one up in Chinatown in SanFran for my B.day. I like him. Fits together nice, colours seem nice. Currently, he's flanking Dag Base (Grandus re-paint from the Brave series) with the MicroMaster Superion (repaint that started this thread).

I also have the Destron coloured KO MOSC. I'll open him once I get the Destron Beserker (white) re-issue Sixwing.

Whoops, I was talking about the larger box one, the one that was in easter baskets and so on.

I have the Destron micromaster SixWing, and that's pretty cool. Six Build is good too, but I have the Universe Devastator version. Must say that I like the combiner parts combining into the airplane type deal. It is cool, as someone else said, to have combiner parts that do something when the robots are not combined.

universe Devastator is BAD@$$!!!

I seriously think he is the best version of Devastator
and the BEST universe line gestalt, I'd even say the
best gestalt ever.

although I can see someone not liking him cause they may
think he is a bit small, for me though it is perfect.

btw, my Rail Racer guy in gestalt form seems
much shorter than VP.
just imagine Rocky vs Thunderlip :P

now I'm really thinking, and as awesome as I think
Devastator is, and I love the rivalry he had with
the Dinobots.
I'm glad Rail Racer is what I ended up with, because
I have a few "construction" mini-cons, but no train
ones. and I like trains.

I may have missed it, who is VP?...Vector Prime??

This line of TF are originally Micromasters, so yeah, they're small.

As for the best Gestalt ever, I think Predaking has had sh!ts bigger than some of these guys!

However, I am growing more fond of Micormasters as I continue to collect them.

For all the anti-fanboy bashing of him that goes on around here, Predaking is the bottom line in G1 (at least) and most likely all gestalt Transformers.

I got the big lots superion last night. Its alright. Not for the $24 + tax it cost. That part kinda sucked...lol. Like a bunch of minicons, but neater since they hook to large middle pieces to make a combiner. :-?

I got all of Superion at Big Lots. One shot one kill. However, for Railracer I hit up every CVS Pharamcy for 20+ miles and was still short 1(Tankor). I finally broke down and ordered him from KayBee Toys online http://www.kbtoys.com/Results.html/previous_keywords//NsDefault/1/Ns/score_bestseller_units_kb%7c1/N/3216. I just got him a few days ago (six days total turnaround). Now Railracer is complete!

Currently, I am waiting on Reverse Evolution Sixturbo(black) should arrive this week. Universe Devestator Sixbuilder, should arrive anyday now. Three of six for Berserker Sixwing(white).

I only need three more for Berserker Sixwing and I'll be set. By the by does anynone know where to find these guys? I need Chain Gun, Missile Run, and Supersonic for Berseker Sixwing.

Also, I still need Red mode Sixtrain, but I don't want to pay $60+ on eBay for him. Any alternative suggestions?
