Decepticons all and all, have the better part of the community. That's pretty much the only reason I'm thinking of staying con. If I could be a bot but still get access to the con forum instead of the bot one, that'd be cool.

I'm not a hardcore Optimus fanboy. I was just thinking one night, when I came to the conclusion, I thought there had to be someone else. I could not think of another leader character that was such a good leader in another work of fiction.

And bots haven't been dieing since 1984, bots started dieing in 86.

Grimlock: If the war was over there, why did the comic continue for another 13-15 issues in America? The war got put on hold when Unicron showed up and Scorponok decided to side with the Bots. Then, at the end, Bludgeon ran away and the Autobots returned to a reborn Cybertron. Bots won.

Actually the better argument would be the Autobots won and implemented the Maximal protocol and forced remaining Decepticons into subservience and general oppression.

So Heroic of them. Let's not forget that Optimus Prime was a murder happy slaughter fiend in the comics. He has one of the highest body counts of all the Transformers back in the day. "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings...except Decepticons. They can just be shot to death by me."
