ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:You're wrong about Roadhauler. Roadhauler is in fact a renamed-for-trademark-reasons version of Hauler from the cartoon's pilot - the crane truck guy who lifts Hound back to the road and who was likely the original plan for the toy that would become Grapple. The e-Hobby toy expands on him and ties him in with the extra Constructicons seen in the flashback to Megatron's construction.
Regarding Road Rage herself, and her face.. G1 Cartoon fembots do seem to have faces that are more tapered than the guys, and it helps her look more distinct from her mold-mate Tracks. And if we look beyond G1 stuff but still within the realm of more-or-less-normal proportions, Override and Thunderblast have tapered, pointy faces.

Not even a cheaper TRU Hasbro version?

By the time that reaches my doorstep, I could have just paid Takara prices for the same thing.
I'm downsizing to Generations and G1/G2 at the moment. The only one I'm considering is Starsaber, because he's an oddball in the MP-range anyway and I'm a Victory fan.

Starsaber's a great toy, but only if you're a fan of the Japanese TF anime. He doesn't really fit into the "traditional" G1 TF aesthetics, and seems more at home among early/mid 80's Gundam mobile units than his TF brethren.

That's why he could so nicely fit into my Takara focussed GEEWUN. I could have bought him friday, but passed him up. 'cause I figured that if I've got the money for MP Saber... Why not save up some more and get the original?
Because he costs a kidney.

You kinda lost me there. Why would he fit into your Takara G1 collection, if he DOESN'T fit in with generic G1 TF aesthetics?
As for vintage TF's, I have no inclination to collect those. Even as a kid, I felt jipped when the actual toy didn't have nearly the same level of articulation of cartoon accuracy as the cell animation models.
With that said, vintage toys will actually go up in value.

I meant that I could have gotten MP Saber, but passed him up for the sake of having money for the original. While he looks absolutely rad and fits in verrrrrry nicely with what's going on in my collection, he just isn't the original. Knees be damned!
Kinda the same way I feel about Roadrage. While cool, it's just not red GEEWUN Tracks.
V, I'm gonna nudge you on this one.Va'al wrote:Sooooooo nice looking, right there. I am very very very tempted.

G2 Swipe needs somebody to help him calm down after a hard day of kickin' A$$. And some one to help him kick even more A$$ the next day!
Plus she's just so fantastic looking.

Good! They can convince you to get MP G2 Bee!Va'al wrote:Actually, I believe the two would just enable each other.
