I think having the Autobots actually set up a base to operate from is a great idea for the second movie...it can a big reveal in the film and explain where the Autobots are, while Sam is in school and the like...I'd hate to see the Autobots spending their time disguised assisting humans, that would suck in my opinion, except maybe for Rachet who's a rescue vehicle...Can't imagine some hill-billy trucking the country side in Optimus!!!
What a waste that will be! Well unless of course, they somehow show Cullen doing a cameo driving Prime! Then that'll be cool... but it should be minimal and very coincidental...say Cullen accidentally enters Prime by mistake, or say his actual Rig (which just happens to be the one Prime scanned) happens to be blown up or something and Cullen needs a short ride...

Just some ideas ppl....

I thought it's be interesting to have all the Seakers ^^ Maybe Screamer could reset his alt mode & the six of them could be six of the newest military jets. (I'm not good with planes so I can't name any examples XD)

Starscream - red
Thundercracker - blue
Skywarp - black
Thrust - red
Dirge - blue
Ramjet - white

on earth, the autobots have adjusted to earth life. optimus even works for a trucking company! but about 45 minutes into the movie the decepticons attack wit starscream seemingly leading the assault. optimus fights starscream, while ironhide along with ratchet discover soundwave and pursue him. they are both defeated and killed, ironhide by soundwave, and ratchet by a surprise attack from wreckage.
soonafter arcee, ultra magnus, and wheeljack arrive. wheeljack will attemp to create the dinobots witha fraction of the alsparck. long story short soundwave's alternate mode is not seen till the end of the movie, when sam and mikeala's new "friend" josh, turns out to have been soundwave, with a human alternate mode. too maany details... if u want more of this idea, then respond. i would be here forever if i typed the whole movie plot.

If Soundwave turns into a Human alt mode, then he is small. Very small. He could not have killed Ironhide. Maybe in some sort of a magical way, he could kill Jazz or the Mountain Dew bot, BUT NOT IRONHIDE. No match. No way.

How about more focus on the Transformers themselves, afterall THEY'RE what we came to see. Seriously, I didn't pay eleven bucks to see meatbag drama, and I definitely didn't need to see Sam and Mikaela makeout on top of Bumblebee (Seriously, I wasn't the only one who found that disturbing, was I?)

As for new characters to put in the second movie? Well...

Autobots: Prowl, Ultra Magnus (And one of his lines SHOULD be "I can't deal with that right now!"), Arcee, Wheeljack, and bring Jazz back if possible. I'm not too sure about the Dinobots, it'll all depend on how they're gonna fit into the script.

Decepticons: Galvatron, Soundwave (Maybe in a more reasonable Alt. Mode, like a TV News Van.), Shockwave, Laserbeak, Devastator (And this time, NOT as a lousy subtitle screwup.)

ur absolutly right people. thanks for at least reading my post by the way. wen i mentioned the whole concept of soundwave as a human, i was thinking mass shifting. which as has been stated, can't be done. and i agree, the furthest thing from my mind would be a puny soundwave defeating the mighty, and huge ironhide, ironhide kicks ALOT of ass by the way, no lie there. i envision soundwave as massive and very intimidating. a destroy all humankind type of villian. i guess soundwave most definatly wont work out well in such a form. gee, i wonder wat exactly WILL work out for soundwave. he is going to be the hardest character hands down to implement. and no mass shifting. wat exactly can he be then? well another poster put in a concept art (fan made) of him. whoever that poster was, he is genius, very reminiscent of his G1 look. and very new age as well. i believe it was a military vehicle of some sort (god why am i sounding so educated, im alot dumber then i sound). if that cant work im stumped as to wat will. but do u think a human/decepticon could work out somehow? i mean definatly not soundwave, but perhaps Sideways? i mean i really think a decepticon in a human disguise would be awesome. he could become close wit sam and mikeala, find out all about the autobots. and in secret feed all of this info to Soundwave. does that sound good to any of you at all? i hope it could be implemented, but lets face it Bay would never use it. Anyway, does anyone want wheeljack to create the dinobots? i envisioned a hilarious scene in which wheeljack argues with optimus and ultra magnus over the dinobots faulty intelligence. that would be afunny scene, and most importantly, no need for so many damn humans. am i not correct to say, that the transformers got far less screentime than those pointless human characters? i mean anythony anderson? i like him as an actor and all, but he really was pointless. i mean ironhide had far more humor to him, wit all his badassery. and most importantly.... HE IS A TRANSFORMER!! okay, okay end tirade.

Mass conversion can be done, and done in soch a way where it is believable. Characters making extreme size change is a long-standing staple of science fiction and fantasy movies.

I just want to see Blurr and Jetfire. Then I will be pleased.
